I am using open optimus build 2.2.02
And it was working fine. Yesterday i tried to boot into recovery mode. But as soon as i turn off my phone and tried turning on it goes directly to emergency mode. But after removing the battery then turning on several times,it boots normaly again. Then i flashed cmw recovery by Rom manager again and tried to boot into cmw recovery mode but all i got again was the yellow screen of emergency mode. Pls help!
Now i am scared to turn off my phone be it for simple rebooting or recovery mode. Pls help

Forgot to say, i am using lg optimus one p500
Many phones have issues when flashing recovery from ROM manager. Might want to try flashing recovery from adb or recovery directly.

hey everyone,
so recently my power button got stuck and i ripped it out using a knife. few days ago i decided to install cyanogenmod and then i installed stock camera but that made my phone go into a boot loop. i can enter download mode using a usb jig and i have tried flashing stock firmware but that didnt help either and im still stuck in boot loop. i think doing a factory reset could help but i cant do that because i cant enter android or recovery mode

Yep factory mode would probably sort your problem out...You could try flashing a custom recovery in download mode and when it reboots it should go into recovery,or you could try to adb your phone into recovery.

thanks for helping. i got so desperate that i decided to flash cf auto root and the crazy thing is it actually WORKED !!
I tried to boot my phone in recovery mode, but it just restarted the phone as usual
Afterwards I installed CWM and selected the boot in recovery mode option, my phone got into the recovery screen but it just freezes.
All I can see is a red ! and a android dude sitting there and the phone freezes
I have a E640 model version
How to fix this?
Have you unlocked the bootloader?

I have rooted my phone with odin. After rooting I restarted the phone into recovery mode. I selected the wipe cache partition. Then I selected the update from ADB. It got stucked. Then I removed the battery and turn on the phone but it got stucked on starting Samsung Logo.
I tried all ways to go into recovery mode but phone is not going into recovery mode.
please help.

If you have download mode that just odin stock again and then reflash twrp
I flashed CWM onto my phone and as soon as I tried to boot into recovery mode (Volume up+Power) the phone keeps restarting until I remove the battery and put it in and open the phone again. I tried going into recovery mode with ADB but it did the same thing.
