So I've done some searches and can't seem to find this. I thought I was running the latest firmware and radios, but now I'm not so sure.
Baseband version
2.22.10.0801r, 2.2210.0803r
If that isn't the latest, where/how can I update my radios?
Thanks!

Is there a way to update radios without RUU???
I've had nothing but serious battery issues with the latest global ruu and yes ive flashed it right multiple times. so im considering S'ing-Off my phone since i heard you can go back to a previous kernel... but I need to keep my global radio as I use the phone overseas often...
Thanks for any tips to put on the right track...

FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK.
DEVELOPER USE ONLY.
Here is the untouched recent OTA zip for devs to pick at.
This is not a 'How-To' or Q&A thread, so please DO NOT ASK.
If you don't know what this is or what it can do, move along.
OTA_Shooter_S_Sprint_WWE_2.17.651.5-2.08.651.3
Enjoy.
UPDATE: There is a new kernel, don't know the specific changes yet.

I'm thinking of flashing this through recovery, doesn't remove root does it?

take it this is the same as the last one where you'd need to have stock recovery to install the update even if S-off? And even then you might temp lose your root access or no?

Wait for the developers to pick through it before doing ANYTHING. There is no reason to flash until its fully vetted. Relax have a beer or chocolate milk....patience...don't give in to the inner urge to upgrade just cause there is an upgrade....
Looking through the firmware.zip...I see all sorts of new stuff....possibly a new radio too?
For those losers like me that are still on stock rumor has it that ICS is coming March 1st....

The much-anticipated upgrade would depend on your country and network operator. So in the US, we will need to wait on when ATT releases the stock ROM.

Is the OP Hellen Keller? Seriously, have you not been reading the developments on the current problems that we have with random threads of the same thing popping up and the ideas to stop that?
Apparently my ideas have fallen on deaf ears...

Hi! First off, i'm sorry if this is the wrong sub i don't know where to post this.
My problem is that i'm new on flashing and i want to flash my phone but i am very confused at the moment. I've been researching what custom rom i should use and i from what i gathered is that i have to flash the original stock android first then flash the custom rom? This is what my phone settings looks like at the moment

. I'm running ICS and i want to update to Jellybean. Also, when i was researching i discovered something called cwm 6x and i don't know what's it for. I Dl'ed is as well just in case but now i'm stuck. I would like to learn from you guys on how to do it because i don't want to take a risk on bricking the phone cause i don't have any knowledge on flashing. Also, sorry for asking this question. This has probably asked before but the search engine for some reason is not working for me.
Edit: Also, i dl'ed the stock versions of this phone. It's the 4.1.2 version update. The custom rom i was planning to put on is this rom called EROM-E160K.[eRuiZhi.com].[Sdhjt.ORG].[J2] i dl'ed it from a thread here in xda.
Why am I not seeing a software update check in about phone? My wife has it, the only difference is I am rooted, is that why?

hi if you are rooted with a custom recovery, you cannot receive updates from lg as it would mess your phone up, i actually thought that if you were just rooted with stock recovery and stock rom you could get and install updates but maybe verizon is different as they seem to be in a lot of respects
