Wiping Cache/Dalvik
What will wiping cache/dalvik do to one's phone? Will the personal data of apps be erased along the wiping? I had a worst experience on crashing my phone playing with flashing last time. LOL sorry I'm a new buddy in rooted android stuffs, so please explain this to me. In order to make my WT19i music light function, I need Busy Box for this reason.
Here's the thread I was up to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1890030

that's ok, guys. you can wipe cache and dalvik. it doesnt mess with your apps or its data

This works in a HTC ONE S (S4) with stock rom 4.1.1 JB?
Because supersu 0.99 does not work well and does not update the binaries. :crying:
Thank you very much and forgive for my bad English

[FIX] A2SD Amarullz

Well, all of you know that A2SDX by Amarullz didnt work for us!
I got it working very well (not buggy) on my Play here are the steps you have to do:
1. Make a clean Flash of your FTF .42 or .62
1.1 Format your SD Card with EXT4 as Primary
2. Boot Phone completly
3. Flash DoomKernel or any other kernel with init.d support
4. Boot Phone completly
5. Install BusyBox ( I have 1.18.2 its quiet good )
6. Reboot into Recovery
7. Flash Amarullz Script
Hope it works for you!
Does it still need to fix permissions after you reboot?
What is this? Is it like link2sd? I use link2sd right now
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
I hope not. That was my issue along with multiple force closes. Im gonna give it a try thanks for sharing!

Maybe if you restart your device at second time, but with doomkernel v13 i dont have to fix permissions every boot again

im gonna test on ics beta with doomv2 ics kernel and report back results
EDIT: DIDNT WORK ONLY GOT BOOTLOOPS. but im gonna try wit doomkernel v14 as that update has zram
Make a NAND befor you do this
strange enough, the first boot after flashing this i lost all network connectivity, and after i rebooted it again i got random reboots
Reboot again and Fix Permissions.. Do you have EXT4 Partition as Primary??
The last time i used Amarullz's A2SD, i had to fix permissions every time i rebooted, or else i wouldn't have any network.
That's a major inconvenience.
Has this been fixed?
i dont know.. i have installed busybox before installing this script and it worked fine for me... sometimes you have to read the original thread complete

How to install OMEGA roms?

Hey guys, well i have downloaded omega into my SD card.. just beed instructions on how to flash it over recovery. Which steps do i need to do first??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
errr.....read the flashing tutorial in the thread??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26325777&postcount=4
Boot into cwm (vol up and home and power). Select full wipe/factory reset, wipe cache partition, go to advanced wipe dalvik cache, then select install custom zip and find its location on sd then aroma installs what u want (choose custom installation). Also yeah this info is in like the 2nd or 3rd post of omega thread but was feeling generous

that's the link for the whole rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1941250

here's a link to just flash busybox through cwm if you're already rooted (I made it, it works fine, but the script could probably be better) : https://www.dropbox.com/s/or1hli2ht453gh1/CWM_busybox_1_20_2-ok.zip
How install this zip archive, thought recovery install zip from sd card?

Yep To flash hasoon2000's rom, wipe your dalvik-cache (in CWM: advanced -> wipe dalvik) and wipe data and cache (main screen CWM), then flash it from sdcard. It has root and busybox. If you're already rooted and just need busybox, just wipe the cache and dalvik-cache (not your data) and flash my busybox zip.

try pushing apk directly into /system/app. set permission and reboot. this will make it a system app. then use titanium backup or whatever to make it a user app
Try wiping cache partition and dalvik cache in the recovery!
Worked for me once!
"Did I ever tell you the definition of Insanity"
How to do that

But after wiping dalvik catche
I have to reinstall all apps

Please tell what to do than
I am using stock gb Rom

you dont have to reinstall all apps if you wipe dalvik cache. wiping cache make you reinstall all apps. dalvik cache just keeps record of installed apps. no harm if you clear/wipe it
I have wipe dalvic and partition catche both
But still same problem persist
Please tell me full procedure
How to forcefully install in system??
As you said in previous post
Thanx

To forcefully install it, take the apk of the mx player app and move it to /system/app with rw-r--r-- permissions!
"Did I ever tell you the definition of Insanity"
you system partition...check you system partition how much left...some app need to push lib inside system partition..don't care many app your uninstall you still face same is issues...you can check system partition using tatinium back or link2sd go to Stories info.
