Samsung Login Problem - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got a notification this morning that there was a Samsung push update.
When I tried to do the update it asked me to login. When I put in my email and password I got the following message.

your Samsung Account does
not match the country
information for Samsung
Apps store
-Samsung Apps country:
Ireland
-Samsung account country:
United Kingdom
To continue using Samsung Apps,
sign in to a Samsung account with
the same country information
as the Samsung Apps Store

Can anyone tell me where I can fix this.
I'm currently in Ireland and I'd like to change my account to this and not the UK

Create a new account, or use market enabler and change your location to uk

Just did that and set my location to Ireland and it worked...Set the email address to the main default address on my Phone.

[Q] Cant log into samsung account to update, also wrong location in some widgets

Well as title says, I cannot log into samsung account when I go to software update in settings. I even tried making a new one and it just won't go or says account already exists. I can log in fine on the computer. just no in tablet. Also some widgets have found my location as in Texas or even the UK and this has happened while googling as well.
I have the same problem, did you find the fix?
Yea I also can't sign into my Samsung account . Any ideas?

Don't try to log in with samsung Apps. I was able to log in by adding my samsung account to my sync accounts. That fixed the problem for me.

[Q] Why is Social Hub broken after upgrade Galaxy S2 from Gingerbread 2.3.3 to 2.3.6?

I just recently upgraded by Galaxy S2 from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 using Odin following the instructions at jayceooi.com. The upgrade was fast and easy, and everything went smoothly, mostly anyway.
At the moment Social Hub Premium Accounts are not working. I cannot setup my Gmail nor my Yahoo mail as Premium Accounts. Everytime I try I get the message "Connection Failed." I can, however, set them up as regular accounts, but I lose the Push feature.
I'm thinking this has to be a Samsung Account issue. I wanted to logout and login to Samsung Account, but apparently I can't do that. I can't even remove the associated account without Factory Resetting my device, which I don't wanna do at all.
One piece of information: I bought the device and registred for Samsung Account in indonesia, and I am currently in America. Does that make a difference? Do I have to do the setup in Indonesia?

Maybe clear data for social hub and see if that helps. Go into settings / applications / all and select social hub. You will lose your accounts but you can just re-enter the account details.

[Q] Google Account Country not changing back to US

i noticed when i log out of my Google account on a computer i see " jp.google.com' at the start of the sign out URL, and when i posted a comment on a website and connected the site with my Google account, it said : Country: Japan. I have changed my country to USA in the settings on my Google account email settings.
This started when the Play store was still the Android Market, i used tools on one phone to change the country to Japan so i could see apps exclusive to japan, then i set it back to United States, but i notice that it says what i mention above. The Google account seems to be doing everything that Google offers here in the US, still, i want to fully get the Japanese part of of the account.
Anyone know how i could fix this? Thanks!

Problem adding facebook and twitter account in accounts and syncs option.

Hey guys i just sign up for xda developers and i want to describe my problem i have on my galaxy player 5.0. My problem i have on my is that when i want to sync Facebook contacts, photos, and calenders and same with twitter but i go to settings >>>>> accounts and sync >>>>> add account then i go to Facebook under integrated contacts account. i enter my email address and password. then i get an error " Login Failed. Try Layer". Twitter does the same thing. I'm connected to the internet but still get that error and it worked for about 5 days now it stopped working. i try to do a factory reset, re flash the stock ROM and the pit file G70-GalaxyPlayer5.0-8gig, clear cache data in Facebook app, SnsAccount, social hub, turn off and turn on platform in Facebook app and desktop version, reboot few times. after doing these the problem is there i still get the login error. if you guys any ideas or know about this problem or know how to fix this please leave a post on this thread.
P.S. My device is rooted. I had this problem for 3 days. also Facebook and twitter app works i can sign in but just Facebook and twitter integration is not working I'm still getting the login error.
I don't really think this it but make sure the date and time are correct. Bad date can cause authentication issues...

From what i did i check the date & time its correct but the error still there does this happen on your galaxy player or is it a server error?
The galaxy player is old. It's entirely possible that it is no longer compatible with Facebook's authentication method.

Google Users Stuck on Old Country

Hi,
I have moved from Israel to Germany. and when added my google account to a new phone here, it does not show me Germany only apps on Play store. any ideas?
