Hi, can some one post links for 2.3.7 & instructions for download? My phone is Samsung GS 2 I9100. I've seen people talking about this is a stable firmware. I just upgraded to 2.3.5 yesterday and 2.3.6 is causing battery drainage I might as well upgrade to 2.3.7 if it's that good.
A big thanks if some one can help.
Hi all,
Since I upgraded my SGS2 to ICS my Wi-Fi Direct refusing to work properly. I can find my other devices but can't send files etc...
Did someone get Wi-Fi Direct working properly with ICS ?
Thanks
I have used it a couple times on ICS and it worked fine.
Exactly the same problem here, stock ics lpq rom..
Have tried transferring files between sgs2 and a Samsung 10.1 tab running honeycomb and like you I can connect but not transfer..
Hopefully Samsung will update to 4.0.4 and fix some of the (many) bugs in ics, within the nearest future..

Hello everybody,
I bought galaxy s2 before two days..
As I found various bugs, lags and irritating inbuilt ICS, I downgraded my galaxy s2 from ICS to gingerbread 2.3.6.
Now everything is perfect and stable.
But while browsing Tamil sites, there are irregular display of tamil fonts.
Earlier I used galaxy S advance which is gingerbread 2.3.6, having no issues all Indian regional languages support font display...
I think the problem for this is gingerbread 2.3.6 updated for galaxy S2 was on Dec 2012.
Gingerbread 2.3.6 for Galaxy S advance is the latest update (Probably on may 2012).
This is the reason for imperfect rendering of tamil and other indian regional laguages support on web browser.
1 .Now What Can I do to display indian regional languages (Especially tamil fonts) support for web browser on Gingerbread 2.3.6 galaxy S2?
2 .Do anyone have the system fonts folder of galaxy S advance in order to put them in galaxy S2 system fonts folder (after rooting)?
Or Can anyone give system fonts for galaxy S2 ICS?
Will this method work perfectly by replacing system fonts?
Have anybody tried this?
3 .Or what should I do for perfect display of tamil fonts in web browser in GB 2.3.6 Galaxy S2.
Because I dont like Inbuilt ICS anymore.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
(I also tried the last updated firmware UK Orange 2.3.6 for galaxy S2 which was April 2012. There are no issues on display tamil fonts, all are perfect. But It seems completely designed for the Orange mobile for UK)

Yes, I know S2 ics supports native regional langauges...
But I dont like ics...because many apps do not work on ics and laggy too..
So I want to stay with gingerbread with native language support.
(In galaxy s advance with 2.3.6, all indian languages are well rendering in browser and other apps.)
I am asking why the same can not be acheived in s2 with 2.3.6?
I want to know which parts of a rom involve for this fonts display?
BecauseI just collected system/fonts file from ics rom and put into gb system/fonts and rebooted.
No improvement.
I want to know what should be done for this?
Hello everybody from XDA!
First of all I'm running CM9 (Nightly) build on my S2, I used to have CM9 on my S1 for almost a year, so I flashed my 2 month old S2 to CM9 (Stock JellyBean was just freaking annoying.) At first on stock JB and ICS I was able to use Swapper2, but since I flashed CM9 it will not create a swap file. I get the error message: "Enabling swap(file FAIL), Function not implemented."
This did not appear at stock. At least, the "enabling swap(file) used to say "OK" and the "Function not implemented" did not even appear. Could it be maybe that Swapper2 isn't compatible on Cyangenmod, or is it the kernel I'm using? I'm currently on the stock kernel that comes with Cyangenmod. On stock I had Siyah V6.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone ever find a fix for this, i am experiencing the same.
