JUst thought id create htis im wondering how many people are still using GB? are there more people on Gb than ics? if so what version do you think is smoother/better???? thank you hehe:laugh:
me ... still using GB
I'm still on gb too. I ve tested an ics rom but for me it wasn't as fast as gb. It felt a bit laggy so im currently using semc debrand engine v.9 cm7.2 by Achotjan. It works like a charm!

Will be on gb Untill camera is fixed fully. It's important to me
Using Cm7zmod at present and surely its still smooth as it was before 2 months after installing
I'm still very much enjoying cobrato his miui rom. Mostly because I still have a locked bootloader. It's lightning fast and very stable as well.

I've experimented with quite a few roms but have finally decided that I want to settle down with the "lite-est". What is the lite-est one out there? I'm focusing on memory footprint really.
i cant say this is the 'smallest' ROM but i suggest it, the DonutHD rom is nice, i know it isnt the smallest, if your in such need maybe wolfs gaming rom, as for kernel try doomkernels or stick with the stock se kernel
Xperia x10
DonutHD
SE kernel

^ indeed you cant, although my X10 did struggle a bit with DoomKernel ulbl and any wolf rom but still, the ROM is small, minimalistic, but yet brilliant on battery and speed at the same time, and its kick ass for playing games
The good thing about it is that it's close to stock, so you won't have to find everything again =D
If you want something that is more appealing to your eye, try ThJap's rom (also quite fast), TEAM or even DonutHD as someone else has mentioned.
I like the customizable options of miui and wouldn't mind going back to it for now

Hi,
I was looking at flashing my x10 with this ROM.
Can you tell me if there are any major difference between the MIUI 2.3.2 - Cobrato and the CosmicUI. I am keen to experiment with this one, its just that I have the Cobrato ROM working like a charm.
Cheers.
hi,
I used for many time cobrato miui and then I wanted to switch with another miui.
I try CosmicUI and OddiePrime miui and in my opinion there is no compare with cobrato.
Best stable rom for me. I used DK at medium oc.
Hey dude, both Oodie Prime X and cobrato Miui Very Stable and best MIUI FOREVER. Have little difference there, oodie rom a bit old than cobrato. So, Up to you witch one u want to flash, in my opinion try Cobrato MIUI, because the have no difference between, they develop together .. .
Here the link, currently i am using it too

why not try the latest donuthd?
stable, all functional, and battery friendly-moderate use for 13 hours aday and I still get 40% battery.
On doomkernel middium overclocked to 1113. set smartassv governer (scale to 245 to 1113)with setcpu.

Yeah I'm using also this ROM and I must say this is the best stock based ROM. If you would like to use some CM based ROM I would suggest you dixperia or techdevil. Those are also pretty good.

Already flashed the CM7.2.. Super smooth....
It's time to restore the app & data.

Ya, after trying out those cm ROM, Ya, they are fast, but not fully functional, the main function I lost is tethering out. I have a galaxy tab, with cm in my x10, I cannot tether to my tab.
In addition, the camera from cm ROM sometimes force close.

try the latest update from Maikinho10, it's a CM7 with fully working camera (and camrecorder), it's super fast and stable i was running it before switching to ICS
which is the most stable rom for you? no matters 2.3.4 or higher..

now I use ThJap based on stock 2.3.3. it is stable, more free ram, better audio quality but less UI compared to X10S. till now I just try this 2 custroms and quite satisfied with ThJap. next I want to use gaming rom but have no idea which rom is it
I´d add...and eveything works?
It´s a shame get an appearance ICS but after not working tether, cam recorder
It seems I´ll stay in X10s until change the phone
no doubt, donuthd.

There actually is a bug free and smooth JB ROM. It's called SlimROMs+ CM10 Revised3 for Robyn. I am using it right now, it does not freeze or lag too!
