No frills and antutu CPU
Sent from my E15i using Tapatalk 2

SetCPU for me the best :highfive:

Set CPU, but No-frills is a great free option too.

Overclock
I would always prefer No CPU Frills Control or SET CPU

You'll need a custom kernel - I prefer Rage Kernel
and and app like SetCPU (but it's paid).

Overclocking app
Make sure your kernel supports overclocking.
Currently using No-frills CPU Control which is included in GB Spartan Rom 2.2 Final.
Downgraded from ICS 4.0.4, now back on GB 2.3.4, much much faster and games are more compatible. Stock ICS kernel does not support overclocking.

Livewallpaper v/s performance

When I used stock DDKQ5..... I was using Livewallpaper without any cost of performance(phone was smooth as butter.. Loll)
But when I have a custom rom installed...... And when I apply any LW... Phone lags too much.
Can any one help me to remove such lags??

I have those three scripts applied as well as AllInOne. My livewallpapers are fine. Depends on which LW you are using. I have the Nexus revamped pro LW which doesnt lag at all but if you have one which needs to use the accelerometer, it may lag.
Also go to CM settings and change the min CPU to 245hz.

Is undervolting is opposite of overclock?
For ex i OC from 1.5 to 1.8ghz and under volt means downgrade from 1.5 to 1.2ghz??????

No. Undervolt changes the voltage sent to the processor. Overclock changes the speed of the processor.

CM 7 vs 9 vs 10

I know we should not ask for the best rom... But I am just asking, which cm version do you like most and why do you like it... Just post your opinions...

I think the fastest is cm7, but less than 10 cm for the most points in antutu.
Sorry my bad english.
I thing cm7 better than cm9 and cm10 for gaming, but if you want get updated ROM, you can try cm9 or cm10

I prefer CM7 over CM9. I have tried both, and I really had some problems with games and some apps in CM9 because they aren't compatible. So, yes... CM9 has a pretty nice UI (better than CM7) But I choose CM7 because is faster I think, and most of all, because I use to play games a lot and is more compatible than ICS.
And you can also have a nice ICS look in CM7 by following THIS guide, so it looks really nice.

if it come to play HD game i like a rom that base on cm7, but since the game developer starting to move on ICS n up i have tried CM9 n CM10 including the rom that base on it. and i said CM10 or rom that base on CM10 is more responsive to play game BUT if the game requirement is ICS or up dont put ur hope to play that game cause usually that game require an high end hardware
CM9 or CM10 draining more battery, i thought it cause by our ram is only 300mb+ so the system keep the cpu busy to release resources
both are good but cm9(and all ics roms!) has a better response on touch screen
in performance cm7 is so much better!
on cm9 i use these governor and I/O:
smartassv2-sio
cm7:
smoothass-sio/bfq
