I just bought a Giani Mipal 2, it comes up with a message " you don't have any devices' when I try to download skype on my Android 2.2 OS.
It seems the android OS is not working. How do I download it again
I've rooted my phone but I can't find any custom ROMs for it.

Any custom ROM for s5830i will work on your phone
CyanogenMod 11 ROM working on S5839i?

I'm a bit unexperienced, and not sure about the differences among the S583xx models.
I have a S5839i which is still running Android Gingerbread 2.3, however quite badly (e.g. some calls do not show up).
So I'd like to update it to Android Kitkat 4.4.
For the S5380 I found the following manual:

However, I am not sure if the CyanogenMod 11 is compatible with my model.
On the release note http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2587481 , it is stated:
So no idea, if this includes my model (is the S5839I as sub-model of S5830I?)
If so, is there any other way to update my phone to Android Kitkat 4.4? If not, is an update to Android 4.3, Jelly Bean possible?

No you dont have any Update you have stick to 2.3.6 or Go for any other device.

unfortunately there are no upgrades for this model , if your looking for better performance & more storage , get yourself a new device

Can someone clear out something for me. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3110) and it is running Cyanogenmod 10.1 and i want to remove the mod but keep updating my android version. I am a noob at this stuff.
A friend of mine bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (GT-S7275R), which has Android 4.2.2 - and that is the latest version that Samsung provides for this phone.
However, he'd like to use it with Fitbit hardware, which requires BLE API for syncing, and that feature is in Android 4.3.
How do we put 4.3 on this phone?
I don't think there's Cyanogen for this model. Is it possible to install vanilla Android 4.3 safely?

It doesn't have to be vanilla. Just how do I get 4.3 on Ace 3?
