Just disabled update notification but yes its release 5 not jelly bean! Us region
Some changelog I remembered - most of xperia features like Walkman replaces Sony music player. Removed dlna but u can use it from Walkman n video player. Removed favorites. Replaced socialfeed with social life or some thing available in play store already. And some more I couldn't remember sorry.
Waiting for someone who upgraded n still have root.

Actually, the person that wrote the tech note accidentally called the Sony Tablet S by it's pre-RTM code name, S1. The pre-RTM code name for the Sony Tablet P was S2.

No, i want application from Play Market. Google won't allow me to dowload this to my Sony Tablet S, only Xperia.
I want it too. My xperia ion rooted with ics, but google says its not compatible. So if anyone give me a libk to apk it would b awesome

Thanks for sharing. It works with my Sony Xperia S and Sony Tablet S. This app actually use Xperia smartphones wifi tethering feature. Bluetooth connection is just to active the feature whenever both devices detected.
Is there a chance to use tethering over bluetooth with this app?

Hello! It seems that the client works great with my tablet z, but the older Xperia neo refuse to comply. When I try to install phone app, it says 'application not instaled'. Any help will be much appreciated!

xperia link not working on nexus 7 ( 2013)
This is a dump question, but i think u may help me out. I had tried the SomcXperiaLinkClient.apk for my Nexus 7 (2013). First time when it tetering with my phone ( xperia sp c5302), that was awesome. After that, the next time it kept drop connection each 10 minute. When i check in app info in both devices, the xperia link version 1.0.A.0.9 ( Nexus 7 2013 ), and in my phone is 2.3.A.0.4. I guess the difference version may cause this drop when they tetering via bluetooth. Ah ! when i tetering them by NFC, the xperia link in my Nexus will pop up and ask me to install the update version. Can u help me to solve this problem ??. Thankss so much ( my english is not good, so sorry guys )

It seems that you are running an old version right? In ICS 4.0.3 r5 you just need to press (and hold) the application to remove and add a new one.
The old ones I don't remember.

I forgot to mention that I am running 4.0.3 release1a. I just tried again and I found out that there is a limit of 4 apps. I removed one and I was able to add another in its place.

This rom still has Blur Stuff and Verizon bloat inside, but less than all Blur roms before. ALl changes mentioned in the OP were already made for the VZW JB leak. So it isn't really correct to say that Moto removed "all" Blur and VZW bloatware.
And this update just updates the leak from .8 to .16 which includes some bugfixes I guess. But I'm more interested if the kernel also gets updated?
EU update: In EU/Germany a soak test will start soon and of course we will leak it
Edit: Yes, Kernel is updated to Fri, Feb 1. Anyone already patched it? Otherwise I will do it...

Rooting works the same way, using rootkeeper (temp. unroot before update then restore root).

Yes there is a patch you can find on droidrzr.com its a patch for people already on jb and a full update if you're coming from ICS.

Do we need new GSM patch for JB update or we can use old one from dtrail ?
to be clear, this update DOES change the kernel. So say you back up a ROM, then update, that ROM will no longer work. This changes the kernel for ALL current JB ROM's from the previous Christmas leak. Just be aware, or you'd be on stock ROM! OH noooos.
PS, the Root Exploit is still reported to work if you somehow lose root in the process.

Install latest zto firmware and select front camera then stickers and you'll have my emoji maker working. Working for me, had to uninstall the my emoji maker from apk mirror and download from opening the camera app itself

It's the proper my emoji maker and creates animated emoji' s. Just need to install zto firmware and then open camera + stickers and it gives you option to make emoji

Hmmm from the looks of it we should be getting My Emoji with the next update (September update I believe?).
One thing that I am curious about is that we could actually be getting super slow mo as well. At first I thought this was on a hardware level and it's not possible but on Repulsa's "Ported S9 Rom" it is listed to be fully working, so yeah looking forward more for that xD

You need the camerafeaure xml from camera data plus some libs as well so the apk on its own is useless
