[Q] Easiest ATT NOTE to stable TMO setup? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Tryin to use SGH-I717 ATT NOTE on T-MOBILE. .I've looked at several threads that point to. Tomin's work, but still am struggling to make heads or tails of what to flash without brickin. Im selling my unlocked ATT note to an existing TMO customer, but would like to have it set up and ready to fly for him.. Could anyone that has done this successfully please explain which Rom and which modem to flash.. TMO customer is already aware of the poor upload speeds, again just want it setup and am going nuts tryin to sift through threads that have multiple device discussion cluttered throughout. Thanks in advance. ..

T-Mobile services with i717

OK I have looked and looked but to no avail. Can someone just give me a straight answer. Will the i717 work with a T-Mobile SIM? t-mobile finally works in my area and decided to go with them, on their $30 a month plan. Which is 100 min( I don't talk much) and unlimited text and data ( data up to 5GB first 2 4G, 3G then on also they give you SIM or $.99 if you order their web site Another reason I went with them, cause I can use any unlocked GSM phone on their network. I never had much of a choice when it came to cell service since I live up in the mountains of East Tennessee. Only Verizon and Sprint Picked up at my house. You'd have to go 4 miles down the road to pick any GSM carrier. So any ways I just got a sweet deal on an i717 on eBay for $238 in great condition with some accessories. I read around that the Radio's and can be changed to accommodate T-Mobile's service? I have rooted devices before and know that's not a problem to put a custom ROM it so as to have the right radio. But Need advice on what to do and where to start. Anyone's help and I will forever be indebted to you. I apologize if This has been answered else where ....I just couldn't find it.
Yes this note will run on t-mobile network. Nice plan!
1. Flash CWM kernel.
2. Flash rooted kernel.
3. Flash Blaze modem.
4. Input APN settings.
Everything you need is here on Bigjoe's Super Everything page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28040353
Just follow the above sequence to get to your goal. Flash the fancy roms after you get your rig working.
And hit the thanks button for Bigjoe and the other threads you will visit.
A buddy of mine is wanting to do the same thing only he wants the N7000 instead of the i717. I know that the N7000 in the international Version but could you do the same with what yo explained to me with the i717?
Send a PM to Bigjoe. He is a contributor to the international version as well, so he will guide your friend.

The international version doesn't support the bands and features a different chipset altogether. I wouldn't recommend getting it for T-Mobile, you'll probably be stuck on EDGE data forever.
Tmobile wont work on Note-7000
Brought a international note on Ebay, used with Tmobile in San Francisco area.
Getting only edge speeds.

[Q] Flash Fascinate from VZW to MetroPCS?

Hi, Might sound stupid but I was wondering if anyone has any info on whether this phone can be flashed from Verizon to Metro, and if so would anyone be able to tell me how to do this? I've flashed custom ROMs but never from one carrier to another. I understand I will also have to have the ESN added to Metro inventory before the phone can be activated. I was also hoping maybe someone could point me to a reliable (and hopefully cheap) service for doing so since the clostest Metro corporate store is over an hour away.
Thanks in advance for any and all help and info. If this has been posted/answered before, I'm sorry. I Googled and searched here and other large phone forums and found lots of posts for flashing other phones and lots of dead end links.
Also nice would be some info on restoring web and MMS on this phone. Again, Please and Thanks in advance.

[Q] Have 2 questions.

I have purchased and activated a Samsung Galaxy s3 from Straight Talk model number SCH-S960L. My first question is am I able to flash from Straight Talk Sprint to Straight Talk Verizon. Second question is, since I have activated the phone will I be able to flash it at all. I have searched and searched the forums everywhere for an answer to these questions. If anyone could give me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
Ghost
Interesting questions I would also like to know. I'm fairly new to this, but my two cents on this topic is this: from what I know the sch-s960l uses sprints network so if u flashed to verizon I'm not sure 4g would work because they are on different frequencies. Otherwise I wld also like to do this cuz sprint sucks in my area so no 4g for me anyway. But I believe you can still flash after activating I don't think that matters. We need a rom that will not brick our phones or hinder any features while also getting the new s4 features (hint hint). I've said b4 will say again...I WILL DONATE to anyone who can help with our sch-s960l issues

[Q] Verizon-Sprint GSIII

So I looked around the threads on both Verizon, and Sprints side of the fences for an answer to this question and couldn't find any thing.
I have a Verizon Galaxy S3, and my contract with Verizon recently came to a close. I want to switch to sprint due to pricing and other options, but I don't have the money to drop on a new phone at the time, so I have been looking into unlocking the phone to work with Sprint, however I haven't much of luck...
That's when I came to XDA. While I was looking around the forum, I got to thinking.
Is there any possible way that I could take the Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy S3's ROM, and load it onto my Verizon Galaxy? And has anyone tried this yet?
It's essentially the same hardware, right? To the best of my understanding, the only difference in the phones would be software related according to the carrier.
I am really struggling with this one, and I have witnessed the vast knowledge and great work by this forum before, so I am hoping I'll be able to find the help I need.

Verizon and Sprint do use the same cdma networks but will not activate each others devices on their network so the answer is no I do not think this is going to be possible for you.

Well I did talk to Sprint, and Sprint said they would be willing to activate an unlocked Galaxy. It's just the unlocking process that I am unsure of.
