Problem sending files from notebook to phone
Problem
Hi,
I have a problem with sending of files from my PC to my xperia X 10.
I am on Windows 7 professional 32 bit, nordic 2.1.
Somebody else with this problem?
Proposal of solution?
I tried everything including reinstalling of system or using of virtual wmware machine with windows xp....

Have you tried a simple re-pairing?
Your PC might recognize the device based on physical address, but I think the stack driver for 1.6 and 2.1 are difference.
how to delet devises in my phone
I got devises in my phone which is expaired and i dont know how to delete (SE x10 2.1 world generic)
Doesn't work for me as well. I'm using Nordic 2.1 and Windows 7 64bit. Tried re-pairing, didn't help though. I can use my XPERIA to stream music to my computer, the only feature that's not working is sending files from pc to phone.
I have the same problem after upgrade
.I'm not able to transfer files from laptop, tried all the bluetooth settings but no success..hope we get solution soon!

Problem solved.
Using bluetooth file transfer application - remote files - this will connect to bluetooth exchange folder created in PC by windows 7. Only copy files to this folder - and in phone check refresh - then copy files to your folder on sd card.

what do you mean by "transfer files from xperia s"? Did you mean copy files from it to your PC?

For your case i dont know what OS you use. if u use windows try re installing drivers or format and reinstalled windows itself. lol
i have the same problem. i used archlinux and ubuntu. both cant get access to the phone. i think sony modified the MTP layer there. Windows XP in virtualbox works. Sony should make an effort here to support linux as Android is linux. With GB, i could get some file transfers but after ICS upgrade phone sdcard cannot even be mounted.
my OS is Windows 8, i think that's the problem. ill try it later. Thanks for the idea.

Windows XP hasn't compatible with MTP. You should upgrade OS, or use massive storage mode.

I'm having a problem. You can't call it problem, but I don't know how to.
I wanna to install Android x86 4.4 RC1 on our old computer, where is Windows Vista Home Basic installed.
The computer has got 25 GB free disk-space, so it wouldn't be a problem.
But I wanna have a DualOS, that means, I can select which OS the computer should start. I'll select between Windows Vista or Android.
Is there a solution?
Have a Dual Z3 (Andorid 5.1.1 original)that with Windows 7 was connected via wi-fi for file transfer, but after switching to Windows 10 it does not work (I can not match the phone with the pc). Which solution?:crying::crying::crying:

You need to install the driver again
