Bluetooth completely dead - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So, yesterday morning, my bluetooth decided to totally stop working. I can turn it off and on, but it won't find devices, and other devices can't find my phone. It looks like I'm going to have to take it in for repairs, but if anyone can provide any insight, it would be much appreciated. Here is what I've tried so far:
- Going in and out of airplane mode
- Clearing data from bluetooth share app
- Simulated battery pull
- Uninstalling updates from bluetooth share app
- Ran "bluetooth fix repair" app
- Factory reset
- Wiped cache and dalvik cache
- Rooted and flashed a different ROM
- Relocked bootloader and flashed stock RUU

S2 stuck in call mode

I've searched around the forums and so far, most of the results were people having trouble with their phone getting stuck in recovery/boot/download mode.
My phone, however, is stuck in the call mode where the keypad takes up most of the screen. Everything else is working fine with the phone, as I can see unread text messages and other programs that running and notifying me of updates in the background. Wifi and data work fine as well.
The problem is, I can't get out of the call keypad mode and into my home screen with all my apps. I've tried restarting, turning it on/off, taking out the battery, and charging it via USB to the computer. Nothing is working! Please help :crying:
Clear data on phone & if that doesn't work maybe try a factory reset ?
Do the following steps below:
- Boot to CWM recovery
- wipe cache partition
- wipe dalvik cache (under advanced)
- fix permissions (under advanced)
- reboot system now
This issue sounds familiar......like a launcher problem. I have 3 fixes:
Clear data of your launcher
or download another launcher, by trying to get to your play store app by universal search or from the playstore on the pc
if strangely none of the above works, flash another rom or reflash your rom if you like it that much
Note that this message should have been the 1st, cause if im right the two solutions you recieved above should work. The problem is if your running stock ics 4.0.4, you may end up with the emmc brick bug if you use recovery or do a factory reset. We dont know what your using since you never told us.

Phone not turning on at all

Hey guys,
Just installed CM 9.1 (stable version) last night and now my phone won't boot up at all.
This is what happened:
- Using omega rom at first, worked fine.
- Did a factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvick cache
- Installed CM 9.1
- Had problems with WiFi connection, could find my network and enter network password but it wouldn't connect
- Did a factory reset, etc.
- Re-installed CM 9.1
- Wifi issues still there, decided to fix them in the morning.
- Woke up this morning , phone was running fine for 3-4 hours.
- Went to grab my phone and its off
- Take out battery, try turn it back on. Nothing happens.
- Try charge it when I get home , thinking it might have run out of power. Still not booting up.
- Can't boot into recovery or download
Now I have no idea what to do, is my phone bricked as they say?
Much help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Ben

You require a service centre but as you may have to pay for the repair i would buy a USB Recovery Jig first to see if you can boot to download mode .

Hey bro,
Thanks for the reply. Alright I will have to look into getting a jig.
How much does the service centre normally charge?
Ben
$350 or around that

WIFI won't switch on - at all

Hi,
I've run into a problem - the wifi on my Xperia Z1 Compact all of a sudden will not turn on at all.
The quick settings dropdown for wifi is completely un-responsive and in the main settings menu just slides to 'on' and does not change to blue.
The problem came out of nowhere, with no rooting, unlocking or anything.
So I tried updating the phone's OS - no help. I then did a full factory reset - no help.
I then resorted to running CWM and completely wiped the phone, including all caches and flashed CyanogenMod and there is still no wifi!!!!
This must be a hardware issue? The phone is out of warranty now, so what can I do?
Could it be some firmware or kernel update that I can do?
I'm pretty proficient computer and coding wise and I've flashed different roms to various phones before.
HELP!!!
Roscoe

Did a factory reset and now 360 Gen 2 won't connect.

Before we get started, I'll list what I've done. I've....
Factory reset the watch, I've reset the watch after it was factory reset. I've disabled and re-enabled Bluetooth on my phone (An HTC One M8) restarted it, re-enabled bluetooth, attempted to connect (Via Android Wear, of course) after everything is reset. I've done this in every imaginable order. I've even tried to connect via phone bluetooth. (not through Android Wear.)
I've also tried to go through all of my apps that might access anything bluetooth related; nothing. I've ALSO ALSO gone through my apps to clear the cache on everything that might be related to it.
I said "Screw it!" and I did a factory reset, which was hard for me to do. Nothing. Same error. Tried all of the above AFTER the factory reset. Nothing.
Then I went back to the beginning and I upgraded my ROM. (Skydragon 6.1 GPe) Nothing.
I did all of the above after re-installing that ROM. Nothing.
I went back to the recovery and wiped the cache/dalvik and just re-installed the ROM. Again, nothing.
Obviously, as we all know, you don't actually type anything in, you just verify the number, so there's no way I could have messed the code up.
Anyway, at this point, I'm out of ideas. If I remember something that I didn't put on here, I'll edit my post.
Anyone have any ideas?

FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVING THIS ISSUE: Update your phone's firmware! That's all I had to do to get mine to work.
Can I have a mod close this thread?
Thread closed per OP request.

Failed upgrade

Have a stock T-Mobile Note 8 I purchased in November. I've held off updating for quite some time - I was hoping a "great" root would come along so I was waiting.
Recently my Google app seemed to break - it would load and show the Google logo/whatever at the top but no information below. I tried deleting the cache, and then the app data - still no go. So I decided to finally apply the update that the phone keeps nudging me about. I think this was to go to BQLA.
And after the update...phone boots, compiles, and gets to an initial screen with "System UI has stopped". And that's it. Since I had bluetooth enabled I'm actually still able to answer calls via the headset - but nothing else.
I've tried a cache wipe via recovery - nothing. I tried running an update via Smart Switch (not sure to what version) - and after fiddling with the phone to get it into a mode Smart Switch would recognize it applied whatever that update was. Still get "System UI has stopped" after boot.
The only thing I haven't tried is a factory wipe & reset - because I'm still vaguely hopeful I won't have to and I don't know that it will fix anything anyway.
Any suggestions? Do I try using ODIN and an image from SamMobile? Take it to a Samsung Experience store at Best Buy?
You have done all the right things. your only option is to do a factory reset. hopefully you had things backed up to samsung cloud.
Do you have any overlays or substratum themes installed? I had the same issue awhile ago and I couldn't figure out what to remove via adb. I ended up factory resetting. I think there was something in one of the theming threads.
Edit: all the threads say either try to enter emergency mode or perform a factory reset through the stock recovery.
[hangs head in shame] - yes, I do. Can't stand the default white (why is Samsung so stupid as to use light-colored backgrounds with their AMOLED screens?!)! I guessed that was the case...
I took it to a local service center - and they wiped it (as well as updating to the latest and grittiest) - and it worked. Then I logged into my Samsung account and restored app data - and it locked up again. So now I've wiped twice more while fiddling with it - definitely substratum related.
Thanks for trying!

Your supposed to uninstall all and any substratum apps, mods or tweaks prior to updating or flashing anything
