First off I want to say that I'm a noob when it comes to rooting and such, so I guess I don't have anything to blame for this problem, but the problem is that my Samsung Galaxy S 4G is stuck in boot loop! I was trying to root and update from gingerbread to jellybean with cm10, but things got really messy! First, I want to get out of this boot loop. I accidentally wiped my sd card in recovery mode and installed a custom kernel over the stock kernel and now its boot looping! My thought is that the sd card has no android system files or boot files to let the system load? I don't know but please help!

The SD card has nothing to do with the boot process or storing of system files. Simply place a ROM on your SD card, boot into recovery (wipe everything excluding SD) and flash it.

Could someone help me fix my phone? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II. I was just flashing a custom rom in my phone. What I did wrong was that instead of just erasing cache, data, etc.I erased the whole rom I had pre-installed. So I flashed the custom rom, but it would just boot loop. So I thought because I had erased the original rom, the root was disabled. So I tried to restore my phone with the stock rom, but it only erased cwm recovery and I cant access my phone other than the stock recovery mode. I cant even access the sd card with the stock recovery. I can only access the usb storage. Could someone please help me? Thanks.

UPDATE: Thanks everyone, I figured it out. I just used Odin to restore my phone through and it worked. Thanks everyone for your help.
I caused my device to bootloop after rooting it by attempting to install the Xposed Framework. Someone suggested I try flashing a custom rom to fix this, so i flashed the boot.img and now when I attempt to boot into recovery, it just freezes on the HTC logo. I formatted the SD card, then re-put the ROM on it, and it still will not boot into recovery. It is succesfully rooted but when it boots i just get a black screen, and recovery does not work. Please help me! I just want the ROM to work so I can use it as my new gaming tablet.
Thank you so much!!

what version of the OS are you running ICS or JB?
I'd say download whatever version ROM you are running (ICS or JB) and put it onto an SD card in a "backup" folder formatted for the OS you have and then do a restore from TWRP.
I had a similar issue -- I think when I was installing the JB version of TWRP I also tried to change the screen lock image not realizing that the process had changed for JB. I had a complete mess and I also had the NO OS INSTALLED messages at one point..
What I did (note I had Jellybean on my Nabis, so this is biased towards working with JB):
1. Make sure TWRP 2.6.3.0 for Jellybean is on the Nabi.
2. Download the stock 2.3.11 ROM from the Nabi wiki site and unzip it into a folder on your PC.
3. Next you need to copy the 4 recovery files from your PC to your SD card. I put the SD card into my PC and copied the files over putting them into a TWRP back up folder on the SD card. Now, in order for Jellybean TWRP to recognize the backup, I had to fool it into thinking I had a "good" existing Jellybean TWRP backup and rename the TWRP backup folders to something like this:
TWRP\BACKUPS\0f41000001000000\2014-01-24--09-54-07 JRO03C\
4. Put the SD card back into the Nabi and then boot into TWRP mode.
5. Do a restore from there.
It *should* install a clean fresh copy of Jellybean on the Nabi. It does take what seems like an eternity for it to get past the spinning circle with the NABI logo when it's loading for the first time so be patient.
So I tried TWRP and have had extremely bad luck. I thought I bricked the phone at first, then it was stuck in a boot loop, THEN TWRP could not read from the internal memory, and to top it off, when I finally got the phone to boot up, I went ahead and bought a sim card and got it hooked up to ATT, and when I inserted the sim card, it automatically rebooted the phone into TWRP and reset everything (deleting all my apps and stuff) and got stuck in a boot loop.
I had an old phone and used clockwork mod recovery without any issue. Does anyone know where to find a CWM recovery image for the z5 compact?
Actually, if anyone has even the STOCK recovery I would be forever grateful. I would rather stock than TWRP at this point. I don't want to risk my phone being reset and having everything deleted again.
Same issue, unable to boot rom, TWRP has no access..

I am experiencing the same issue. I would like any working recovery/rom at this point. My Wife has the identical phone. Can I make a copy of hers to help the OP and my phone out?
I followed the following;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-sony-xperia-z5c-t3339930
and have tried a few times now. As well as other versions of TWRP..
On a side note I wouldn't mind testing new roms/features being implemented by developers. Please let me know where the best place to get involved would be.
Thanks in advance,
David.
found a boot.img and TWRP that worked for me..
So after a lot of flashing I found one that works.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/orig-development/twrp-z5-compact-t3235161
at least I can get twrp working for now..
I still can not get CM installed. Each time I get 'Error executing updater binary in zip'. I will have to do some more reading tomorrow.
So I was an idiot and I used EZ-Unlock v1.2 on my rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-i535 running stock android 4.4.2. After going through the unlock process, I restarted my phone. It wouldn't even attempt to turn on. So after a little bit of research, I found this guide. I followed the guide for adding the debrick image to an sd card and getting the phone to boot from the sd card. After that, I tried following the steps for putting the debrick image onto the internal storage. Everything seemed to go well, but when I restarted my phone, it got stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S3" splash screen and won't progress. And since it can boot from internal storage, it won't even try to boot from the previously working sd card. I am able to boot into Odin mode though. So how would I go about fixing this, if possible?
P.S. I did have Safestrap installed on my phone if that makes a difference with anything.
P.P.S I found out that EZ-Unlock isn't compatible with my version of android after I did the unlock process.

Have you had any luck with this?

Try to boot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset, if that doesn't work, continue reading...
Now that you got ya' bootloader working and you can enter Odin, I decided to look up the firmware on sammobile, here is what I got, download the files, remove your battery for 5mins, after 5mins, reinsert and boot into download mode, on Odin, you know the procedure (hopefully), let it flash, once it is done, boot to recovery and wipe data/factory reset, if you don't, you will be stuck in a bootloop. Now, hopefully, it should boot!
I had to install twrp then I was able to restore the my backup from safestrap. Always make a backup!
