Maybe a corrupted file download?? And you need Aroma Installer to install the rom.
I solved
First, flash Doomkernel for flashing the rom.
Then flash ICS kernel.

Since only the kernel is flashed that is why it says 4.1.B.0.431.. For rooting of 4.0.4 we need to flash the kernel of the older version 4.0.3 and that is exactly what you did!
So carry on with your process of rooting i.e root your device with the DoomLord's ICS kit, install CWM and at last flash the orginal kernel for 4.0.4(4.1B.0.431)
yes..do the above said...carry on rooting 1st...gudluck

After flashing the old kernel, install ROOT / CWM then Flash the kernel again , and Uncheck Wipe Data / Wipe Cache / Check No Final Verification?

Yes. If you flash entire .ftf exclude everything except kernel.
Or simply flash kernel.sin trough fastboot, or if you don't know how to, there is .ftf with just kernel in my thread how to root 4.0.4.
I used the method you describe from a tutorial on the official Sony forums and it worked just fine. There, you'll also find the firmware/kernels you need. I cannot post external links here but if you search for "{Guide} How To Root Xperia™ Smartphone Running ICS or GB ( Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread )" on google you should find thread 41119...

[Q] Xperia Go ICS rooted upgrade to JB rooted

Hi!
I have XGO with unlocked BL, root and CWM from Munjeni.
Is this method working:
- Flash with flashtool JB ftf without kernel
- flash with CWM Superuser zip
- flash with flashtool just JB kernel from JB ftf
then I will have rooted JB with CWM.
Think I right?

the link you posted has .587 firmware for mini pro.... download it....
you have to flash it first by using flash mode and then you will find boot.img in the zip file of Xtream Bean ROM V 3.0....
extract boot.img from zip and flash it in fastboot mode.... now go to CWM recovery and follow the instructions

I guess it's not really necessary to flash the .587 kernel first... just go ahead flashing the boot.img from inside the zip and boot in cwm recovery and flash the rom
If you really want the kernel, take it from here
thanks for ur reply

Normally there should be no problem just because you didn't flash the .587 kernel first, but you can try flashing the stock .587 kernel I posted earlier and then the boot.img you take from the rom.zip
Did you wipe before installing v3? Sometimes there are problems because you didn't wipe, but I don't know about the rom...

[Q] Install LegacyXperia CM10.2 from Ice Cream Pureness Build 14 SP1 ICS 4.0.4

Dear Helper,
I am currently running Ice Cream Pureness Build 14 SP1 ICS 4.0.4 on my Xperia Neo V, and would like to install LegacyXperia CM10.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397237). There are some questions:
1. What if I am not first flash boot.img (in the zip) with fastboot or FlashTool, and install the 'cm-10.2-20140207-NIGHTLY-LegacyXperia-haida.zip' straight from CWM,
2. Do I have to wipe anything. If so, after flashing boot.img by fastboot or FlashTool and before flashing the 'cm-10.2-20140207-NIGHTLY-LegacyXperia-haida.zip' straight from CWM??
MANY thanks!!!
