Irritating Boot - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

I asked before and im asking again..can somebody please help me with this. Every time I restart my phone I have to wait 4-5 minutes to get it start as its always optimizing all the apps and saying Android is upgrading. How to disable this Android is Upgrading and Applications Are optimizing thing? It gets very irritating

Not on every boot.
OP: It must be a mod you installed recently that is somewhat bugged, and does that. Dunno how to stop it.

I don't think there is any way to fix this, except for fixing the faulty mod.

adb logcat > myrom.log

I do not think the error is in the android.policy.jar file I replaced by inserting the original file, and it's always the same thing, I made a video so I can better understand the problem (sometimes the bootanimation lasts longer)

Yes UOT kitchen you read cyano in the log in because my ROM is based on CyanogenMod 7 and I have yet to complete the total customization, so some apk is still original Cyanogenmod

nothing does not want to leave, I did what you suggested, I even re-inserted the default keyboard, replace the original META-INF folder, but nothing does not start, what can I do?
Also, when I install from the recovery tells me that Framework-res, fonts and the bootanimation is still UOT why?
I'm having a doubt, it is not starting because I deleted some apk like Pacman.apk?
You need to start simple...
Get the cyanogenmod and just remove what you don't want and add what you do want first...then flash and see if it boots, if it does not boot then you deleted something you should've kept
Once youve gotten rid of unwanted apps and added wanted apps then you can start theming...uot kitchen is really only good for battery mod...but cyanogenmod already has this built into the settings... so, just use apktool to decompile the apks you want themed and start theming them with a photo editor...I use gimp, its free and has lots of features
UOT is great for personal quick themes...but if your going to be releasing the theme or ROM then you really want to do it all your self...you'll feel like you accomplished more, and it really helps you get n understanding on how things fit together in a ROM
Just by looking at your op...it is quite obvious that your new to android development...that is why I say to start simple, what I said above is exactly how I started...I would just delete and add apps at first, then I moved onto theming...and slowly progressed...now I'm building ROMs from source
Also BTW, cyanogenmod is an aosp based ROM...so your ROM is also aosp based...and I don't think uot kitchen works with cyanogenmod anyways because of all its existing mods

If you google around, you will find lot of information about this, I have tried all of them and none work for me lol. Some say it is normal some say it isn't. I guess it is normal for first boot when we done something or wipe caches but for every reboot, I don't think so. The phone still work the way it is though, guess have to ignore it till someone knows how to fix it?

[Q] No effects when clicking on a desktop icon

Hi after I have installed several apps , played with the input and phone languages, installed a new keyboard, and ultimatelly received this "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" error the effects when I click on an icon on the screen are gone, the wavy effect is just not there and I have searched the whole phone for solution.
R: [Q] No effects when clicking on a desktop icon
The several apps right there might be a problem...or the rom is buggy (many are).
So tell us what rom it is, what android v, what apps youve installed that required root access.and if youve modded.any futher the rom or enabled mods already within the rom.

The rom is the standard one that I reckon comes with the phone.
I haven't had modified anything apart from installing apps and updates.
The phone is not rooted in any way. Nor have I modded or inserted into the rom.

Factory reset really seems best.
Just make a backup of your apps (use titanium backup) and then restore them

that's interesting, because as far as I know, the ripple effect on the desktop (not the lockscreen) is not included in the stock ROM. are you sure you're not talking about the lock screen? you can enable the ripple effect by going to Settings - lock screen
Yeh I am sure. I'm sure that it was there for some time after I have updated the os. Then again I have installed a great deal of software which I think had made my wavy effect disappear?!
And can I do a backup of the apps with no root access I don't think it's a good idea to play an expert and damage the phone beyond repair. Thanks!

Aye, what do I have to do? If you just give me a link to the most current method used, please.
The phone is gt-i9300 international. Thanks!
read the basics
I realise that. But there's a lot of people who suggested all sorts of different ways doing the same thing. All in all if you flash the rom solely don't it enables root privileges in a more effective fashion..? Thanks!
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
R: [Q] No effects when clicking on a desktop icon
The most effective fashion is the most complete one, not how you do it.
If youre speaking of flashing through odin modified parts of the rom so you can gain root access..then yes thats what i did (just look it up on youtube, make sure you write galaxy s3 international (if international version) and android version of your rom).
If youre speaking of flashing a custom rom which comes with root access already unlocked, you need to have root for that.
Its easy you can find it on google or youtube. Best method for now (or perfectly working one used by the most people) is flashing some stuff through a programm for pc (or mac i think, but im not sure) called odin. Then i advise (once you have root) you boot into the phone and install from the play store rom manager. Thru this app you may install a new recovery (basically safe-partition of disc, think of it as a bios or firmware for a pc. What u need it for is to save ur ass if u f***k up your phone, or to make COMPLETE backup images of your device so that you may restore them later on. It can also be used to flash other recoveries and therefore replace itself, or flash other roms or kernels. Its a MUST HAVE for anybody with root)

use any method, it does not matter at all.
but rooting will not get your ripple effect back. If you said that you had it before you installed something, then factory reset
