[Q] Please Share Your Best Camera.apk - Streak 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello everyone, for the first time use, the camera quality for the Dell Streak 5 seems not improved yet. I didn't see exposure, iso or other setting works (if i installed 3rd party-apps). Is there anyway to improve the quality both photos & video? i added some line to build.prop like i see in the forum, but didn't notice the difference. So guys, whats yours solution for something like this. Please share, and thanks. I'd love to know...

No app is gonna offer what the firmware and hardware don't already have. The.Streak DOES NOT AND WILL NOT take good pictures
Bravos engine is strictly a.VIEWING enhancement... has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with modifying the way a.device takes a picture

[Request] TWRP 2.1 Theme

Since it's just XML... is it possible for one of the very talented devs here to make a Rezound TWRP 2.1 theme? I was hoping for one that looked... well like Rezound stuff... you know, red icons that matched our physical and red text and buttons and such. Maybe something less... sharp than the default theme?
+1
It's ALL xml?

Okay, and maybe some images. But seems like it's mostly XML.
Isn't there a template somewhere?

Using in daylight

Isit just me or is the brightness crap when using in daylight. I compared to my one x and y just seems dim at 100% even on a light cloudy day.

Seems perfect with me, but I have nothing to compare it with. Try going into settings developer options then change the screen to dynamic.

try using mean rom 2.3.... i know the camera works in 2d and 3d on that rom... some roms only the 2d works so you might only have one camera out and if you load one with a 3d cam then the second cam may kick on and if none kick on id definately say its a hardware issue...
Pull camera APK from stock ROM,delete camera from system/apps ,copy pulled APK to system/apps,reset permissions to rw-,r--,r--,,reboot phone,,should take care of camera issue,,hope this helps

Go launcher with simple text and bob clock. Ill send you a link when i get a minute with the total tutorial I found online.
Edit. Try this link. This guy has a great review of the Note as well. The set up he has is pretty decent. I prefer my screens in portrait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c39PXAr9_F8&sns=em

THANKS! That was a spectacular video. I want to try that. However I worry a bit because in the comments to that video someone posted (only 3 hours ago) that Go Launcher updated its app and therefore its not possible to follow the tutorial. Not sure if that is true or not or if i could muddle my way through the tutorial but this is definitely a weekend project to try!!

My original post proves it works on the note 2. Running it now in fact. There hasn't been an update with go laucher since I set everything up so don't know what that post is about that you read. And the set up only takes about 30 minutes in my experience.
I just uninstalled go launcher and all necessary apps for this set up and reinstalled. No issues at all after following the tutorial again. Don't believe reviews or comments as they are filled with haters.

I don't know if you noticed, but...

All the bootloader unlocking guides have been closed. Lmfao. Is there anyway we can fix this? Like, by tonight? I'd like to unlock my P769 already and get PACMAN.

Carlos said he was going to make a full video tutorial, I'd be glad to assist him as long as it was easy-to-follow.
I like the idea of the full video. As long as it's clear with the instructions & good quality.

So far the video is going good I was messing with a lot of video recording programs and some didn't even work until I used fraps only problem after recording like 2 min it gave me a file the size of a 1 gig So I uninstalled and came across camasia (or something like that) and the quality look pretty good just waiting till I upload to youtube to fully check it out.
