Either you forgot to wipe something or you have a hardware fault. No problems here on all leaks and no problem on JB release.

[Q] Annoying buzzing noises when playing music?

Whenever I play my music, I hear buzzing/squeaking/whistling sounds behind the song (theyre not that loud but still)... I hear it with and without headphones and with different players (stock, doubletwist, etc). Is my phone damaged? Is there a fix? Is it common for this to happen? Ive had this problem since i got the phone.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
(btw ive searched and could not find anything helpful)
do you have anything like dspmanager / equalizer on? I had a similar problem and it was caused by equalizer.
i had this problem when i flashed beats audio
but mine was louder
couldnt hear the song
just the buzzing noise
+1 to the problem with beats, reflash n remove equalizers of all kind and then see if its solved.
had the problem on stock rom using stock headphones...much less when using a different headset. used CM7 latr on and the problem was less...now it seems to be back..using GTR
Do u have beats or xloud in your rom
Mine has the same issue, stock rom. The buzz goes away when I use bluetooth headset.

It is Samsung bug that is more or less common to all 4.0.3 ROMs, but on XWLP7 I had it more often than on XWLPD or XWLPG. When this bug occur, just reboot your device and it will be ok for a while.
after enabling 5.1 just skip to next song then go back to the song u were listening, it should be fixed
u can use beats audio mod from this linkhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
it makes the sound amazing and with enabling the 5.1 effect it's awesome
try it

[Q] Page Buddy Problem

Hi,
Since JB 4.1.2 I am having this problem since page buddy introduced and I want to know if anyone else having this problem too:
In page buddy I have music player and removed the by default video player and included the FM Radio.
Now, if I play FM Radio first and then decide to switch to music player the music starts but I just cannot hear any sound on my Headphones.
I put off and on the HPs again and restarted the music player but no sound comes unless I have a restart.
This also happened on deodexed stock XXELL5 rom. And now on Ultima too.
Any idea what could be causing it?
Is this a bug?
Any solution?
I love page buddy.
Regards,

[Q] Is 4.2 still having audio problems on HOX+?

Hi,
I've been reading in several threads that CM10.1/AOKP4.2.2 etc. are having problems with audio?
I haven't seen any posts about audio issues in some time, so I'm asking - is 4.2.2 Android having audio issues on HOX+ or they were fixed?
Thanks for reading and replying.
EDIT:
In CM10.1 thread it says "WORKING: [...] AUDIO" and in FAQ:
Q. OMG Audio sucks
A. Live with it for now [...]

First, thanks for replying.
Second, you meant "No, people are living with it" or "No people are living with it"?
I'm still confused.

It's a work in progress. When it's fixable they will try to fix it. But it's better than not having any sound right?

Are these problems just with the speaker, or with headphone audio also?
I haven't had problems with headphones/back speaker as for now.
I haven't tested the front one.
HTC One X+ Music & Audio Stutter (Skipping)
Hi Guys,
I'm not sure if this is the same problem being discussed here. But after a month of using my One X+ without any problems, a few days ago when i was listening to music loaded on my phone, it started giving a short stutter randomly while playing it through the music app. I've downloaded several music players (Poweramp, Doubletwist, n7player, VLC player) all with the same stutter problem (with & without Beats). Its extremely random and occurs mostly when the phone is locked. I thought it might be a memory manager app so i deleted all such apps but the problem persists. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there a fix for it?
This also happens while playing games with my headset connected! The game audio stutters!
Thanks,
Jonathan

Not too sure about the game audio but when I play music on the speaker on my phone or listen through headphones, I usually get a studder or what sounds like a CD skip for a millisecond. I have checked my mp3s and none of them skip or studder on my computer and I have flashed many roms and re flashed the original ruu but still a skipping noise.
Not too sure the cause because I hear it on Pandora as well sometimes, but more often when it plays on my music player app.

[Q] Sound Artifact

Hey,
I'm using Crystal PA with nikita's Cyanogen 11 Extended Kernel on my d620.
I experience some "sound artifacts" / noise / interference when listening to music on my phone. Those are distorted sounds that occur randomly while listening to music with headphones or via phone speakers.
But the strange thing is , if I use CM's Apollo music player everything is normal.
I'd just use Apollo to play music, but it doesn't quite offer all the features I need.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
Would installing Viper4Android help?
EDIT: I'll reflash the Rom and see if it helps
I just reflashed the Rom and there are still artifacts.
I nailed DSP down to generate this issue.
