My cwm recovery used to work it was the latest version. Recently I tried using rom manager to flash my first rom. Well it turns out that I think rom manager screwed up my cwm recovery. Now every time I go into recovery it just shows pixels like appearing lil by lil and it turns green. Any way to fix this? And I was wondering if I re install cwm the way I did before with Odin will it mess my phone up? Or will it work. Help!!

Try reflashing your phone with an official firmware then Root it like how you did before and install CWM. It will work.
Next time dont mess with Rom Manager when you already have CWM.

Then there is nothing to worry. Download the official firmware, Flash it via Odin, (CWM would be removed) Wipe from recovery, Reboot.
Then root it and Install CWM like normal how you did it before.
Will work 100% !

Remember to use triangle away to reset the flash counter too.

If you want to reset your binary counter, you must download Triangle Away first, reset it BEFORE flashing a stock firmware..
I hope this helps

Sorry to hijack the thread.
I'm trying to remove cyanogenmod 9 and go back to standard but Odin freezes EVERY time. I've tried it no less than ten times.
Any suggestions?!

Triangle away is for erasing the binary counter back to 0 since you rooted the s3, it is recommended to erase the binary counter so if ever u crap up the s3, your warranty wont be void..

Can I use triangle away to fully reset my flash counter to zero? Im running a stock ROM 4.1.2 From Spain (orange provider) Jellybean? Or does it only work with ICS?
Also it has some extra features from galaxy note II and I am root with CF root v6.4

i've used it before without issues, but i've tried 4.1.1, and 4.1.2 odin flash, plus CF root on my i317 and cannot get TA to attempt to wipe counters. I open the app, tap "reset flash counters", download the add-on, agree to warnings, and nothing. no reboot, or anything.
Any ideas what would cause this?
See if yoir phone is supported with triangle away

Where you downloaded it from?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
i got my firmware files from sammy, downloaded TA from play store, and i've had my CF root for a while (maybe old version?). i have noticed that adb works, but adb reboot bootloader just reboots, and no fastboot commands work while in download/bootloader mode. that's never been an issue before, and i'm on a mac.
I can get all flags set back to official/normal, just can't get TA to reboot and attempt to wipe the counters.
does not work on my s2 i777 is there another way?
