I am getting the same problem too, anyone found a solution?
bump. any progress with this?
Can't get it to work with latest omega rom either
in setttings activate homehelper.
Home helper doesn't work for me. Stock JB, GS3. This is pretty frustrating.

You must have freezed SVoice. I had the same problem and unfreezing it solved my problem. I don't use SVoice but it must be unfreezed so that you will have WidgetLocker working properly. Anyway, you can kill SVoice process in Runing Apps.
That worked for me.

seen a guy over at the development threads ask about this, but I didn't see a response. I am having the same issue, when I try to "log in" to sync my facebookgives to the widget , I get a "invalid-key"error ... the first time I flashed rocko's rom worked fine, then I tried cm9 alpha ics rom, ended up reflashing back to rocko's, then the problem started.. any suggestions/fix ? Thanks in advanced..
I am not sure what is causing the issue, but it is possible that ICS modified something in a file the ROCKO's rom didn't touch so it could be causing the problem.
Once suggestion i have is to revert back to the stock rom and then flash rocko's rom again. I would think that should do the trick.

So launcher pro is causing this issue?
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
Am not entirely sure if launcher pro is the cause, like I said when I flashed rocko's rom from stock, the widget worked. After going to ics and back to rocko's I encountered the problem. Ill try to go bak to stock, then reflash rocko's and ill See if it works.

One more ?....wouldn't the wipe and system format prior to flashing roms erase any settings and files from the previous rom?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
It works now, went back to stock, and reflshed.. but my gallery wont work. Force closes everytime..
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
I am glad my suggestion help you out a bit.
As for your gallery issues, I would take a look in the forums to see if anyone else is having the same problem with the gallery using Rocko's rom. It is possible it is a bug in the rom and not something with your device alone.
Sorry for delay in responding, lol I noticed I had 2 gallery icons.. one stock true other was also gallery but different from stock. That one seemed to work fine.

I'm running CM10, the one posted by Cyanogen. It's running great and I love it, but I'm really confused as to where Google Now is. I flashed the gapps for Jelly Bean and it seems to just not exist anywhere on my phone. Can anyone please enlighten me as to what's going on?
Have you tried search...

That's just the problem, holding the menu button does nothing, and my lockscreen only has the camera and unlock.
Most likely then CM didn't finish Google Now since in one of their videos the one phone had the same problem since they didn't finish Google Now on it but fixed it after. Probably next release or so it'll be there.
Go to the app manager in the settings go to all and see if you have Google search

just tap on the google search widget thats in the homescreen. Google logo or the mic to go straight to talking.

Try doing a full wipe and reflashing the latest release that came out today.

I had this same problem but mine was to due to the fact that I flashed gapps after booting up the phone for the first time. I went back into recovery, full wipe, flashed Rom and immediately after flashed 7-16 Gapps and when reboot was done I had google now. Maybe you can give this a shot if you haven't already.
Well, after using the revolt for a while now, my sgs2 has been randomly hanging for no reason. What could be the cause?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Could be a recently installed app,or changes you have made.
Hmm. My apps are at the minimum and I didn't really make any changes... so I can't figure out the problem

didn't 'really' make any changes - 'fraid you'll have to do better than that
The changes I make are about battery, toggles and that's about it

Yup i experienced this issue since about one week, every day it froze once. Problem is i always make changes, update apps and such. Change launcher settings, add widgets.
I read some people were complaining about recent Dolphin updates restarting sgs2.
Maybe go launcher ex has probles too, i unticked prevent force close.
Maybe battery widget is making problems. I used one that checked battery health and could also say how much time it had left. I changed that one to one that doesnt constantly measure it. Phone didnt freeze since then. (Only one, two days now)

I don't know what revolt is, but i gave you some examples, of what might have caused it for me, though i can't be sure it won't happen again, it's too soon. I'll report if it hapens again and i do solve it sometime, if i'm sure what the problem was. For now i think it was the battery widget.
Asuming, it worked before and its not a rom or kernel issue, try to think what apps might cause this and make a post when you solved it.

Well, I used the rom for about 2-3 days, no problem. After that i did install one game... so I uninstalled it. I'll see again if my phone will hang. If it does not then I'm pretty sure its the game's fault. Because it hanged two times in a single day
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I can confirm, that as soon as i uninstalled the battery widget, and replaced it, it stopped freezing, must be my roms or kernels fault, cause that widget was installed 5 mil.+ times...

If you have ClockworkMod Recovery, try clearing cache, Dalvik cache and fix permissions. Also download SD Maid and CacheCleaner-NG to clear cache from all apps at once, instead of going through them, one at a time.

I have been running SHOstock 1.3 for about a week now and I've been getting this persistent issue. My phone tends to freeze for a couple of seconds usually on the lock screen. And maybe at times when I'm texting. I have reflashed multiple times, full wipe, cache wipe, etc. I have also tried reflashing the kernel it self with the kernel cleaner zip. Still no luck I give up on looking around I never usually ask questions. I love the ROM its great to use very fluid and fast. I came from AOKP and I think I made a mistake in doing so. I just need the freezing part to stop. If not I am going back. Thanks if anyone has an answer.

I don't have this problem. But one of the first things I did was disable help on lock screen under lockscreen settings. Report back on if it did anything for you.
Second. As always I Always move all of my apps that are on SD card to phone memory. This keeps the phone in its smooth state. (This may be your solution)
I assume you're running SHOstock3 1.3? There have been some issues reported with the lockscreen widgets and/or wifi - read the SHOstock3 thread and search for these keywords. Not sure if there is a fix, but I don't have any major problems using the lockscreen widgets/shortcuts with wifi. Maybe once in a while, but not often.

It's a known bug. I think Sho mentions in the v1.4 changelog that he [possibly] found a fix.
Yes, it seems we'll have a fix soon:
(v1.4) UPCOMING Soon
-Added Flashlight Toggle
-Added Black and Red INK Lockscreen Effect
-Edited powerprofile.xml for sgs2 (Was set up for sgs3) Also Disabled a bool setting for a notification LED widget we don't have. (both seem to have fixed the lockscreen hang)
-Added JellyBean AOSP Lockscreen Toggle

It's a bug with xxlsj. Mentioned all over this and the i9100 section. Just searching my thread would have yielded you results of this. I may have found something since I don't get it anymore but others claim it's kernel related so we'll see. Remember this is a leak.

Hi since the Stock Samsung JB leak 4.2.1 for the S3 you can put widgets on the lockscreen, as I thin many of you know!
Anyhow. My problem is that I cant put the Dashclock widget on there, just getting a force close. Anyone else that tried with success?
In the description over at GPlay Store it says that it supports Jelly Bean 4.2+. So I think that it's kinda strange
And for those that doesn't know witch app I'm talking about, I put a link down below!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock
i have the same problem. i dont know why but i hope they fix it soon. i tried different roms based on leak and every time i faced FC.
I installed dashclock on my leacked romed S3 and it's working perfectly.
Just did a full wipe after flash...
