i have been following xda-developers for flashing my first ROM on htc hd2 devie. i have gone through all steps mentioned as:
SPL-2.08.HSPL
Radio Leo 2.15.50.14
DFT MAGLDR Bootloader v1.13
ClockworkMod Recovery v1.3
still when i reboot device after using .zip from CWM, the device hangs up after reboot, with "android" or "htc" on screen i tried waiting for the hang-up to finish for 3-4 hours, waiting did not help.
can you guys let me know What thing i am missing in installation.
i tried installing these ROMs upto now.

Hi guys. I just flashed a cooked ROM for my hero (called: Hero AOSP 2.0.1-r6). There was no problem while flashing the Radio & SPL. After i flashed the ROM, i selected reboot/restart the phone. But my HERO wont be start. It always starts with the "HERO" screen and turns off and restarts again again aigain and aigain.
Can someone help me pls to save my HERO.?
ps: my HERO isn't branded.

i solved the problem by myself guys. I trid to connect my in fastboot mode and perform a new ROM flashing. Everything works fine now.
Hi I have followed this video (youtube.com/watch?v=cvS4EvS0PAw) byfirst installing HSPL 2.8, after that installing MAGLDR. My phone didn't boot into the black MAGLDR menu. It stayed on the white screen with htc on. I've tried as you the guy said in the video to hold down the power button but it won't go beyond this white screen.
I would really appreciate someones help

what rom do you run?
you need a .50 rom and not .51
this is the only thing I can think about.

I wanted to install an android ROM on my HD2.
I installed HSPL as i should do and everything went fine.
Then i went to install MAGLDR and the installation went fine too.
But then, it started as i would think it showed me the HTC logo. But after 30min it was still on the logo. And on everyother video i saw it was just a sec to load it. So i trieded to install MAGLDR again. Still the same result.
I installed the latest radio still the same result.
I removed HSPL and reinstalled it and then install MAGLDR still the same result.
What did i do wrong and how to fix it? i am able to get into the red green blue whit screen
Just a dumb question, did you install a ROM after MAGLDR?

Just want to say sorry for my english in advance
I tried to star the phone in usb mode and no having problem. Flash it with cotulla HSPL 2.08 and works fine but when i try to flash the rom i having problem just because the process it's blocked on 1 or 2%.
I can tell you that the htc logo it appear strange with some black line. otherwise when i power on the phone in usb mode (it's impossible to start the phone normally) i see the standard 3 colors RGB and some information included new one that say: "upgrade rom code error, please try again".
what i should to try to resolve this problem???

what is it your trying to flash?
can you get it in to bootloader mode, plug it in to your computer so where it says "serial" in changes to "USB"
once in that you should try putting the HSPL back to a normal SPL, then install HSPL again. if your attempting an Android ROM, try installing a customer WM instead...
Well i as installing android like in this video:
But them in the minute 7 it shows me a problem of the kernel, i think that was a problem of the hspl but i have the 2.08, so i install again this version but when i was to iniciate the phone gets stuck in the htc logo!
