actually our streak never meant to be supported by rom manager... however... you can ask the rom manager developer to support it though i doubt it will be supported regardless ... this place is not the right place to ask...
thanks for the reply deysmarco but i know that rom manager developers will never support for which the real owners of the device (dell) dropped there hands to support it so that's what bring's me this question here, we are lucky to have some developers on this forum or else we were on stock olleh roms maybe why i think that hunderteins and manii could modify this app.

Hay guys,
in the german board pocketpc.ch someone started a thread saying he was successfull running a 2.2 custom ROM on his X10.
He also posted a screenshot showing that. What do you think, is anyone able to say if this is a fake or not? Does anyone know this guy? Of course he didn't post any tutorial so far so perhaps it is our friend LordPhoenixSalvation who also came up with his cool ROOT-method ^^
Here is the link:

I still don't believe it.. could be a 5 minutes work editing build.prop but it can be true too..
If they made a customer Froyo Rom...
Why would they keep the S E background and colours?!
Yeah, it doesn't get much hoaxier than that. Easy mod to make. Not to mention the theme and one would think that a custom rom would be using a custom kernel rather than the stock SE one. And the url "customfroyo.com" featured in the screenshot isn't even owned by anyone.
Froyo with 2.6.29 Kernel?
Fake.
Thanks for your answers. So I can stop hitting F5 and go on cleaning up my room

Did it brick your phone?? or not?
I don't mean to offend, but if you honestly worry that much about "will it brick your phone" over BUILDING a rom I guess you either don't know what a rom is, or won't have the skills to make one. No developer hasn't bricked a phone before, it's not as if it's hard to bring it back to life.

Ohhhh Android Kitchen ? I wanna try ! (And we can fufil fla.sh's dream of a HTC Sensed Galaxy Ace XD)

yes some of its build component worked for ace. thats the one and only tool i use to deodex when other tool gave much headache. deodex and unpack/repack bootimage works. what does not works is building flashable zip file from it, gave error "0" in recovery. also somewhat agree with consegregate. if u that worried about bricking ur device, dont even bother to think about cooking roms.
This is a topic for all of your stupid questions to be answered rather than in the dev topics which is clearly pissing developers off ^^
Ask whatever here, just NOT IN THE DEV TOPIC!
First question: Why do you created this topic? You really think that noobs will post their noob questions in this topic? Noob is noob and nobody can tell him where they have to place their stupid question.
If you don't test it you can't say that it doesn't work
What's a noob ? ^^

In french : "peut se traduire par "débutant" mais a plutôt un caractère dépreciatif => intraduisible quoi ^^"
But I think you are joking
Noob's question: If you port Android 2.3 on Wave succesfully, does will work ICS without problems? Need whether working with GSM, Camera, drivers again?
Sorry for my noob's english language
Noob question, already posted on dev but not answeared:
Is the GB a Cyanogen Mod version? I heard of something like that sometime ago in Froyo thread and never heard of it again... So when I say GB i thought it was it....
So is it a GB CM version? IF it isn't, why don't just make one? Wouldn't it be better?

When the kernel (drivers) are made then it works more or less for all versions.
The main probleme is then to port the new version and that is a hard job too (this is what Trigrouzen is doing).
I'm not a dev but I think that what I told you is right or something near the truth.

No it is a Galaxy S ROM.
Make a Cyanogen ROM is work and devs have to choose between them since it is a lot of work and that making 2 versions is not resonable as they are no full port for the moment.
I'm not sure but I think that porting a Galaxy S firmware is easier since the kernel is based on this device.
See! Trick worked on some more intelligable noobs lol
But those who are noobs that have sense ask here too! At least then there is less clog up in dev topics...

In fact CM7 will be very easy to run after we have a fully working kernel.

You can install downloaded apps and games by removing your battery. remove your memory card. now put your game files in memory card slot. and you are good to go..
Just kidding. dont take me seriously...
babonescu no applist here (against the rules)
You can install games and apps via kies

I think you are beyond a Newbie. (in formal language) I suggest you to learn SEARCHING. There is an awesome site for that! It's name is GOOGLE.
Please write right things to right topics.
PS: This is the android porting section. You can try other sections in bada stage...

It annoys me that me, as a noob, that I can quite happily read the first post of the Dev topics and not litter it with endless "when this, when that" questions because they ask you not to. Why can't people understand this? When an update is ready for release it will be said at the beginning of the topic. Stop asking questions and let the Devs get on with what they are doing, which most of the time they do FOR FREE.
If a free service to which you have no obligation slightly inconveniences you then you aren't really in a position to complain about it. simple.
Anyways I'm out, sold my waveII on ebay for a fair buck and now moving onto the galaxy W which looks quite interesting.
Keep up the good work Razyre! You've given this project the jump start it needed.

Your question goes to far in the future since the most important thing is to get a good kernel ( the Badadroid team is working on this)
For the moment Tigrouzen is on the way to port Gingerbread.
Then maybe later it can be port if the project is a success.
To sum up, ICS is not the priority.
Hello,
Since i didnt't find any posts relating to my question, i maked a new thread ( Pardon me if there is a similar thread )
Recently i bought a Phone made in China with already a Custom Rom/Kernel on it. (mt6589)
can someone help me out if this phone supports other kernels/roms? ( Information about the phone included )
You won't find any here. Mostly due to those OEM not releasing kernel source for their devices
Wayne Tech Nexus
ah ok thanks.
But what are the things u need to look at while searching for a kernel/rom.
like: is it possible to get Cyanogemod working on it but some features may not work? or is it just not possible

hello guys still do not get anything, I'm also looking for roms or some development for this phone would like a roms cleaner something more to the pure android I have if you want can leave contact to join the owners of this phone to see if we can get some development and we help each other say? :good:
This is a low end, low interest phone (and an oldish one too) so I think the search for a custom ROM is vane.
ROM are developed by people owning that phone. No dev owns one of this, so ther'll be no ROM.
I think the best we can do now is to debloat it in order to lighten the OS and make it work more efficiently.
I will go this path.

Jump to my Twitter account MuhammedSabbagh so I can give you the link since my account on xda isn't privileged to post links here
twitter is no longer needed check below answer
hello fellow xda developers community!
i hope everyone is alright
i'm sorry if i take too long to respond on twitter as i rarely hop there (can't blame me tho it's isnt the best place to be in anyway..)
to immediately go to topic here is the link of the Recovery: https://mega.nz/#!5gtmhCjQ!_utHIgyVgHvLW2qPoESeC_XeAlyBAD1sixQxYzIAZPc
my device is broken because bad battery so i'm not using it anymore, tho the recovery is 100% usable
finally if you please just don't contact me on twitter for the recovery anymore because there is a high chance that i'm not going to respond..
that's it enjoy the recovery !!!
an XDA Thank is highly appreciated!
EDIT: Looking back at the answers
There is NOT any custom ROMS for that particular device so please don't waste your time on looking for one and only debloat it
right now there is a TWRP for this device to use so that's that
thank you. yeah, i received the file by conctanting him on twitter because it was not here before )
