Well u have to deodex if u wanna edit it, maybe u can odex it back once done but that idk how to do it.

What patch are you talking about? Btw SGSII is based on stock 2.3.6 while CM is..well CM.

If you read the description of the patch you can see that he made it for CM7 by taking an example from the Samsung stock rom. Well SGSII is already based on a stock rom so the feature is there already.
Yes,I think the same but a few months after I used it in Kq8 and I haven't any problem; how SGSII is based on this stock maybe it's posible used it. Regards

Hi guys.
Just modified the Secphone.apk to disable the increasing ringtone, which drives me crazy.
For XXALJ1 Odex / Deodex
For Odex:
- Go to system/app
- Rename SecPhone.apk and SecPhone.odex to SecPhone.apk.bak and SecPhone.odex.back
- Unzip my SecPhone.apk and copy it to system/app
- Change the permissions to RW- R-- R--
- Reboot
For Deodex:
- Go to system/app
- Rename SecPhone.apk to SecPhone.apk.bak
- Unzip my SecPhone.apk and copy it to system/app
- Change the permissions to RW- R-- R--
- Reboot

How can you dump a source file from your device?? you cannot find c source files in a Rom nor a kernel because they are already compiled from source :banghead:

Graphics.c it's a source file, so it will not be on your device. It's on recovery kernel sources, take it and mod it as needed.

You're alrwady using it by default, if it didn't work you might need to mod it.

Requirements:
Any 4.3 deodexed rom
Confirmed working on 4.1.2 rom too
PROCEDURE:
Extract AccuweatherPhone2013.apk from the 7zip file.
1. Go to /system/app
2. backup ur stock AccuweatherPhone2013.apk
3. Paste the provided apk .
4.Set permissions rw-r-r
5. Reboot
6. Be mesmerized and if all s fine delete the backup

Dont work on mj5. At least, not in joeldroid rom. If you install this, you must reflash the whole rom.
