Welcome XDA Community ! I present you my ROM, T0X1C ROM.
I spend much of my time to make this happen (about 2 monts), prevoius I develop a T0X1C MOD for LWW & Xperia Neo V (only published at polish android forum),
My ROM is developed for Xperia ARC, ARC S, NEO & at least NEO V.
T0X1C ROM based on:
Latest firmware for Xperia Neo V (.62), this is a system base,
Latest Xperia PLAY firmawe (.62), from this FW I take a PlayStation apps like a live wallpapers and PlayStation Pocket (certs too), PlayStation game has been tested by me and working without any problems (Crash Bandicoot from Xperia FW), even PSXperia games working
Latest firmawe for Xperia P/Sola/Go (.164) from this FW i take many apps, like a torch (GO), phonebook, facebook/timescape apps, meesage app, music player app, calendar, calculator etc. Almost every app form original FW has been replaced by newest from NXT Series.
Some other features:
- I added power menu (reboot to recovery, fastboot, normal reboot),
- Sounds/alarms taken from NXT series,
- SERAJR Launcher with 5x4 drawer and patched HDPI layout by me (I made some changes in config app too),
- Lidroid QuickSettings (every toogles working fine, even 2G/3G toogle),
- Static wallpapers (PNG) taken from newest Xperia P FW (ICS+GB resized for WFVGA),
- Some apps has been removed (bloatware like ANT service, Flash, Office) you can download it manualy and for free on Google Play,
- No scripts in init.d, only tweaks in build.prop,
- Very stable and fast (free RAM about ~ 250-260mb after first reboot),
- Apps from original FW are modified (PNG's and even strings) for maximum Xperia NXT look,
- Long press back button kill background apps (like in CM ROMS),
- NXT Lockscreen (witout installing aditional package) with settings and notifications,
- Live wallpapers from NXT Series (Cosmic Flow, Magic Forest, Earth),
- Modded camera app (better photo quality, and higher video bitrate),
- My implementation of Beats Audio (only few files for maximum audio quality and sound volume)
- Working ALSA + some tweaks in build.prop like a resampler etc,
- Skip track (in music app and radio) by volume rocker,
- Smooth scrooling,
- 30 step volume mod (for music, even on bluetooth headphone/s),
- Probably all widgets from NXT Series (I leave some stock widgets like Media Widget),
- Very good battery life,
- Some specific tweaks like a better touchscreen reaction, better voice quality incall, and many others ,
- Newest Google and Sony Apps,
- AdFree (by AdAway app),
- UI rendering by GPU,
- Optimized for everyday usage (because is stock like),
- Added support for init.d on locked BL,
- Bugfree ?
- Many others tweaks, and features that I forgot
Instalation is simple, flash a T0X1C_ROM_V8.zip, next choose a patch from T0X1C ROM (it resident on SDCARD after instalation of main system), odex is optional (but it can add aditional performance), recovery is only for locked BL. FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED ! (if you get a market errors like 927 or others make a second full wipe).
I suggest to use a .62 baseband or ICS (.72/.77).
I recommend a NightElf 10.1 kernel (so you must unlock your xperia), I don't test my ROM on locked phones but it should work If you're using a .42 stock kernel you must update it to .62 or NightElf.

ROM is developed for polish user so instalation strings in recovery are in polish language, system is multilanguage

Hi Mate,
I installed the ROM its fast and nice look.
When we flash night elf 10.1 it gets into boot loop or continuously restarting
with 9.6 version itz solved.
note : i didnt flash the odex as some said it will cause bootloop
will update if any issues.

With PwnKernel 1.7c my Phone never boot, stuck in Xperia Logo.

the patch inside zip just like codename
after you install zip, you can install patch from sdcard/T0X1C/

Have you tried to uncheck and re check all animations in settings?maybe same problem as wolf rom..

Running this with unlocked bootloader and Doomkernel v5a. Max 1228 cpu and linpack 41 42. Same as wolf but i think it must settle down.
I saw init.d file supercharger. I am not so fan of it. But yes its fast. Same as wolf? Hard to say, wolf has less apps in it.
Quadrant is 1340.
Fps is not uncapped avg is 29. Going to flash Z uncap zip.
Also his audio stutter and playback lag. To be shure

I've been trying it for 1 hour or so and found the first bug, in the SMS app, there's no icon for MMS and the SMS icon doesn't appear sometimes.
Also, I'm feeling it a little bit slow, though, I'll wait with tthis one since it may be getting everything ready. Nice ROM, keep on the good work, totally recommendable.

Install this sms mms apk just over the existing one and your have fully working sms mms.

Where is the hotfix for?
Are you sure that hotfix workes because in the hotfix i see a build prop of the xperia arc 2.3.4 and i think that is not giong to work on ower devises.

I will flash it in few hours..i can't understand why you had to flash z uncap fix if you were on doom kernel..this one has just uncap integrated in kernel..right?

First try i flashed hotfix straight after rom and got bootloop, might be worth suggesting in OP to reboot prior to applying hotfix. will report back, gonna flash fps uncap.

Do not flash the hotfix, its has a buildprop of arc in it. Will not work, that why bootloop. Fix is for sms and mms. I have posted a few posts back a sms apk. That worked.
I do not now why fps is low but after uncap zip its good now.
I also flashed audi stutter fix just in case. Will not break anything if you do. Did not test before i flashed it.
Hotfix give you no problems?
So do we flash the hotfix? My impression is no. Can you also provide us the audio and fpsuncap fixes?
What about the build prop without hotfix?is it stock 2.3.3?

As you see, finally, TrueAncestor comes back.
This might be my last work for my play, it was broken and just got repaired two weeks ago.
When I got back my phone, I think I should put some new stuff on it, so this is what you see.
Since I've leave for a long period, so my rom might not be the best and up-to-date.
I just show you what I'm using these days and I have confidence it is a good rom.

Known issue:
Black margin appears on the most left home screen on the first boot. (After rebooting and changing wallpaper you'll never see it again)
720p video recording doesn't work under lupus 480p kernel, works fine with 720p kernel.
The 720p recording issue isn't really an issue... Because it's not supposed to work on a 480p Kernel.
720p recording is disabled in 480p Kernels in order to free up more RAM for the Operating System. So as long as 720p recording works on the 720p Kernels it's working perfectly normal and as it should.
Glad you are back, i often using your rom before.

Free Ram is about 180-160mb, at least without installing too many apps
Free Rom is around 350 mb

tell me if you fell it not good at all: it's simply a cm9 with some tweaks and apps and modded framework, but it has not enough free ram.
in next version or patch i think i'll debloat it a bit

Couple of questions
CriGiu, thanks for the great work. Haven't installed this one yet, but I tried lots of roms on my xperia play. I found myself returning to stock over and over and that really bugs me, so before I jump in, I'd like to make some questions beforehand, if that's ok:
- The GBA emulators, any of them, do they work fine? I really love Mario Tennis and I really hate the sluggish performance I got on almost all ROMs. I am not fond of overclocking, so I would like to know if it works on regular clock speeds;
- Walkman and stock browser: do they work fine? I found that on ICS ROMs the stock browser is slow and that walkman behaves slow as well. I saw great performance on JB roms, but on ICS I always found the browser and the walkman a tad slower than I expected;
I know I'm being a nagger and that I should just download and test for myself, but maybe someone has my needs and tested the same things already, so I'm asking

I haven't tested a gba emulator, but if you need to know tomorrow i'll try ( i can't now coz in my country are 11pm)
Browser and walkman worked fine for me, also, i didn't notice that strange effect when listening to music that happens in some ics roms, but i can't say if it's good as much as you want.
So, i think you'll better see for yourself

I had given up on ever messing with my son's X-Play, mainly because of the lack of touchpad support.
Thanks Lord, you've motivated me to finally root and unlock the R800at. I will have to brush up on Sony flashing again, its been a while since I had an X10.

Turn wifi on then reboot and it should work fine after that. That's what I had to do anyway.

I'm going to be honest i'm liking this Rom although I would like a lot more if this had smart Rom theming for all apps etc but if that was done this would be best Rom also if walkman app was fixed other than that great

Install Guide:
1.) Download the Rom
2.) Unpack a Kernel inside the zip file called Lupus.img oder Doomlord.img
3.) Flash coosed Kernel via fastboot

5.) Wipe all ( System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache )

Just a heads up, I have not tried any other ROM then GB in a long time. So this is my first non GB rom to test out probably since this year.
My thoughts:
When I set it to redownload the MC4 files the wifi was incredibly slow. I was three feet from the wifi. And this may be because its ICS so it uses more ram then GB but it seemed to lag a little between normal transition between various aspects of the phones UI. This was after I installed no frills and set it to 1.4ghz on performance and sio, and I even used app quarantine to kill all apps except MC4, PLAY store, and settings.... everything else was frozen. I will keep playing with it. Either way thank you for making this rom. I appreciate your hard work and on behalf of the XDA Xperia PLAY forum thank you.

Hmm, well I use a ICS rom for everyday use and the download speeds are the same as GB.
Been waiting for V2 Final on android-hilfe.de to test for a while, will flash now to test.
How is this rom in terms of speed and performance?

yes. you can use many of status bars ( systemui.apk ) they are compatible with 4.1.B.1.13 firmeware.

hi mark, is there anyway you can make a version of the rom or a flashable zip with a sony xperia z style notification bar as i've found one and installed it but it comes out with the time wrong and no settings. i'd be a cool option for users or you could make an aroma with some options to add remove stuff and make the rom lighter and get rid if things. just an idea because your roms are awesome and final v2 is one of the top ics roms
Hi mark i think I found one bug, when I try to save an number as contact from dialer, the phonebook stops, I noticed that the infinitview.apk is missing, maybe this is the problem...
