Haven't managed to check smali code yet. I'm using home from Xperia T and didn't see improvements in one minutes I had it installed.
But I will take a better look and decrease font size, add auto rotation, decrease transition times and add blue dock background and it will fly like a rocket.

thanks seem to have got working with t semc calendar, maybe usefull to upload it anyway as many people run semcCal from S and this will not work.

works on official gingerbread too. But both images are incorrect then write new message and background of the title. semc background white and semc background or somethign similar must be changed. But I dont have the original images if you could extract them somehoe or provide the framework-res.apk I'll try change it.

Seems to be the same Conversations.apk from the Xperia S. If so, there was a modified one which fixed the button problem and mms in these forums.

MMS does not work. Only regular SMS messaging works. Force closes when adding a picture for MMS.
Needs the same fix as Xperia S messaging app imo.

As you may know, the Xperia S home launcher doesn't change colors when you switch themes on the Arc. I have made each launcher in all the different colors available in the Xperia S launcher. I also made my own blue one, since there isn't a blue one in the Xperia S; it shares the same one as the default color.
I've also attached the default launcher file.
Please note that I have no expertise or experience with XML editing (yet), so if you'd like to request an alternate home version, they will be coming from vr5411's post (Thanks again!).
These are flashable zips. So make sure you're rooted and have recovery, then flash away!
You may also push the apps into system/app, and change the permissions of the app to:

And the reflection in the dock bar is from the unmodified stock launcher, so no, I don't believe it's from hansip.
Actually the launcher that I posted is from the xperia sola system dump that muzontnt posted. Little difference, but the launcher is optimized for the hdpi resolution. You'll notice a difference in the dock with text from some apps. An example is messaging and play store; in the picture the text fully fits, whereas in the xperia s launcher, messaging and play store text are cut off.

For now there a no system dump from Xperia Z...only the leak JB system dump from Xperia T...and most of the app I test worked on my LWW (not all work)...

I am using an arc and those widgets wont work for me except the power saver.
TK, i guess you were right,silly me huh.
If the widgets don't work installed, push them in system/app with correct permissions. For me, every widget is working.

This is what i'm using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36016381 and everything works fine... The problem is not with widgets,but with TimescapeSpline and Social Core.

I have an old Xperia mini 10i that's been very good to me. I had long ago, switched from the corners launcher to launchers of my own but last week I found the NXT Port and gave it a shot, and I forgotten just how lovely the CORNERS function on the launcher was!
I spent the day looking for something for my Xperia U...But nothing.
Come across some beautiful stuff (serjar et.al) by many people but I just can't find a LAUNCHER with CORNERS for the ICS 4.04 Xperia U - whatever ROM I'm looking at!
So...I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction? I'd be very grateful.

Thanks, but I think that's on Gingerbread...it's the problem I've been having - I can't find anything for stock ICS 4.04, or any of the Roms.

But it has modded launchers
And that corner launcher was based on Xarc launcher

Hey, thanks for the direct...but that's actually one e of the places I was coming from.
These mods won't load on the ICS platform, at least not on the xperia U.
So I'm looking for a mod specific to ICS 4.04
I gather that the 2011 xperias, so some of them, received an ICS upgrade of their own, but this stuff just doesn't install on the U.
That mod you point out is the closest I've come to finding something though.
It DID work on my CM7 mini!!!

I think small corners only present when you have a ldpi phone. Xperia U can't get it because it's a hdpi phone. That's why when you try to install the launcher you didn't get any corners
stock launcher from xperia mini/mini pro/active/lww from ICS fw does not work on xperia U?
both mdpi phones have launcher with corners...
and when a use on my lww launcher from arc i does not have the corners
I don't have hdpi phone so I don't know how mdi launcher will work on hdpi
Here are two launchers for MDPI phones
look on the second one its based on original MDPI ICS launcher for mdpi phones with corner

This work on CM9 based rom. Tested by me. . Idk why that launcher wont work on stock.

Gone through them all, no luck. Please keep sending your suggestions though. If I could just get some corners for my lovely Lightening Launcher.....!
