Here stock mms.apk but someone (i tought it from CoD rom) has modding it. It looks like ICS messaging. this apk can be use at all rom, just copy this apk to sytem/app then change the permissions to rw-r--r--

try to delete the old mms.apk then replace again with this apk. dont forget to change the permission. then reboot...
i think this app just for GT-S5360 Rom not X8 -_-

what rom are you using? if on stock. try deleting the odex file.

in the home screen->menu button->wallpapers
The Themes i use are:
MinimalBread
MIUI
Naked Simplicity
ICS
But nearly all themes work on g3
check orange theme .. it's simply awesome.. i am now using ics theme which is great too

Did you set the permissions right? I believe it should work. At least it does on stock ROM. Are there any other files associated with the key board app?

yeah, what rom are you on? coz it gives fc on cm9 and did you set permissions as rw-r--r--?
I'd suggest giving Swype a try, if the default keyboard doesn't work for you. Just go to beta.swype.com and follow the instructions.

.apk to .bak then moved the aosp MMS.apk to system/app, fixed permission, for those that don't know its 644 rw-r--r--, then reboot.

I modified the SystemUI to look similar to the S4. Also added a few more toggles. See screenshots. Just push to system/app and change permissions correctly. Hope you enjoy.

No. You have to be root. Use Root Explorer to push it to system/app and set permissions.

This only works for the stock att jelly bean update, dont know if it works with Padawan or Blackstar. Haven't tested on those roms yet.

thanks man, i guess i didnt look hard enough the first time. are you on Blackjelly also? if you are, just down load the apk file and use "rom customizer" to install. it will ask you where to install ,choose "system" and let it install. then reboot phone

go to this thread on your phone, and click the apk to download it. after downloading it go to the folder where it downloaded to and click it to install it. a prompt should come up giving you the option to choose which program youd like to use to install the apk file. "Rom customizer" should be one of those options, along with "apk installer".
Click Romcustomizer and click "just once". after that it will ask you where to install, click "system". the apk will install . you then reboot your phone
Why did this not work for me? It made my statusbar transparent which I'm really hating. I'm on stock rom so it should have worked
