Hi I have had my X10 Mini Pro for over 2 years and run various roms and kernals on it but recently have a problem I have never seen before, when I am using my GPS either in Google Maps or Endomondo it works fine but it kills my cell signal both data and cell coverage drops to zero and just says No Signal. To resolve I have to exit out of my app and reboot but it keeps happening every time I start using the GPS... has anyone come across this before or has any idea's on how to fix? Am running nAa's Gingerbread Kernal v13 and latest build of miniCM7-2.2.1-minimi, I did clear the Dalvik cache not that I thougth that would help but only thing I could think of beyond the next step of wipe and fresh reload...
Any help appreciated.

I am getting very frustrated with my GPS. I use it constantly and more often than not I have to reboot my phone or clear cache on Google maps to get it to connect. Is there anyway to boost the antennae strength like say in QPST or something like that? If anyone knows that would be excellent.
Also, I have had 3 different phones all do the same thing, and so does my buddies who works for Sprint. So it is not the phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure I have had the epic and nexus and the GPS on those phones has the same GPS problems but I found that clearing the cache was the issue it would just nit let the GPS lock. So on my photon I have never wiped the cache and my GPS has been super fast and always works. I found the only way to fox the GPS was to factory reset or flash a new ROM.

Hi guys,
I've been using Morrisoft ROM since version 0.7 and since then, after some period using the phone the GPS simply stops to fix position and it never comes back, only with fresh install. I've tried with GMaps, it shows huge area of confidence, and with sports tracking apps like MiCoach or Endomondo I've had no success either: it keeps trying to find satellites without success. I've also tried to install the GPS fix provided by Notorious544d for Neutrino, but it didn't work also.
Does anyone have a clue of what's going on?

well,
my friend i have used tens of roms and costum roms, with this phone locking gps is almost impossible.
it's a shame because it is a beautifull phone but i got good gps with old phones like samsung i7500 and htc hd2 i can not understand why this phone has this weakness.
also tried gps fix apk and agps usa fix not results.
I've tried everything possible even returning to stock. I can't ever get a single sat lock or any in view.
1 I tried setting GPS conference
2 clearing cache
3 checking internals all seems fine
4 checked the rx (antenna) which again seems fine
5 returned to stock firmware
Nothing resolved this issue I was wondering if anyone had any ideas
Or someone else have the same issue.
I have a HTC inspire rooted that still locates 5ft accuracy.
This one I get 2800ft from network.
Are you rooted? Have you tried other modem? What app are you using to check gps? Try gps status in play store.
Thanks for your reply.
I was rooted till 2 days ago I took it back to stock
Current modem is kh7
I was using the lastest one while rooted running aokp 38.
Ive tried multiple apparently to determine GPS signal all recongize I have GPS on but no signals ever show up.
The icon in the status bar never appears either.
I'm beginning to wonder if I killed it yet its only 2 months old.
Also some BS about badoo keeps appearing in my notifcation area.
As well as a star saying your phone may have a virus.
Download the latest AOKP. (u had said u were using that before), do a FULL wipe. /data, /system, /cache, /dalvik, and run the kernel cleaning script. Then install rom. On first boot let it sit for a minute or two then reboot. Then try getting a sat lock.

Hi Guys,
I've been an active "reader" of the forum, but never really wrote anything until now.
I've noticed that ever since I flashed my rom to Jellybean (specifically super nexus 1 build 5 and super nexus 2 build 2), my 3G connection seems to disconnect rather frequently. For example, when i open my facebook app, it says "cannot connect to server" and I have to refresh it for it to work. This problem disappears when I connect to wifi. This is weird because every time I flash a rom I do a full data/factory reset and wipe cache and no one with my rom appears to be having this issue. I never had this issue when I was using gingerbread.
I am using the default CM kernel that comes with it
Can you guys tell me what might be an issue and how I can solve it? I know its a small issue, but it just annoys me sometimes.
Flash different modem.
Hi
As in the title I've got a problem with GPS. It was working fine for long time, but just one day it started losing gps signal quite often. I'm using WAZE, and it keeps loosing signal, I checked offline navigations as well, gps fixing apps too. Yestarday I did a full wipe and installed newest version of Cyanogenmod 11 M8, but it's still the same.
Any idea what is the problem? Could be something wrong with the phone?
Thanks for answers in advance.
