is there xperia x8 launcher available because i really like it the 4 corner ui is great
there are roms that include the default xperia launcher in them, but at the moment there is the Xperia Active Launcher in this section of the forum wich is in my own opinion an improvement, if you are running an android 2.2.9 based rom (e.g. FroyoBread) it is a little bit buggy, but if you are running an android 2.3.4 based rom (e.g. kuyaDROID) it should work perfectly hope i helped

Some of you might already know me or my work on the Xperia 2011 devices, but some of you probably don't know me at all so here is a short introduction:
I am a 20year old student that started developing for some Xperia 2011 devices on XDA. I started development recently, only a month ago, when the official ICS beta came out
Since then I developed a custom rom named KA Ice Cream Sony (KA = KrabAppel, and I really loved the sound of Ice Cream Sony) I also chose this name because my rom is based on the Sony theme

- ICS themed, status bar widgets, reboot option in power menu and on screen button enabler
- Based on Sony ICS beta theme, framework mods like AOSP lockscreen etc, auto-rotating home
- ...
This information would really be useful, so i can prepare my rom as much as possible to the general needs of the Xperia S users
The Xperia S isn't a cheap phone, so if anyone feels free to donate a little bit amount I can increase my resources for the rom (and maybe kernel) development of Xperia S. Don't donate because I post this, only if you really want to support me

I don't know about the AOSP lockscreen and notifications, the framework of Xperia S is pretty different so I'll have to do some testing with it first before I can fully start developing without a lot of mistakes

Ok, I'll try to do as many as possible I like Sony ICS theme, so I could do that probably
how about the recovery option and i like the ics option
Make it fast,smooth,stable and with a better battery life would be really awesome

That's how I use my own rom without add-ons
I am not sure how far it's possible to do so, but i would appreciate a MIUI port for our Xperia S
The work you've done on the Arc looks great, I didn't need to look at the others! That sort of development for our great phone will be much appreciated and I will very much look forward to your work!

Change the volume rocker, so it will both have a vibrate and no-vibrate state at the bottom. This is default in htc roms, and for example cyanogenmod has an option for this in the settings.

I believe this doesn't work in stock player at all if you unlock bootloader, because DRM keys are lost.

I am a little confused... Your stock version have a mixture of Sony ICS and vanilla ICS theme? If I'm right, you should do small add ons with each part of the themed things (like one for SystemUI, other for MMS, other for lockscreen, for example). Got it?

Since framework.jar & framework-res.apk depends on libandroid.so which depends on the kernel. So.... Let's just wait till someone does that for us w
It would have been easy if only this belongs to Xperia 2011 device but problem is Xperia S is based on 2.3.7 with different kernel than 2011 devices.

ICS sandwich runs great on my HTC Vivid..benchmark scores and batteryufe are much better on ICS than on Gingerbread...maybe you will experience same results with Sony...I have been using ICS custom ROM for about a month or so with no bugs..was suprised HTC got it so fast...AT&T had a OTA update bout week before official release..I was lucky to get before they promptly shut it down...guess they noticed their server was very busy with many downloaded the almost half GB download...good luck to you guys..hope u get it soon..

Simply the best Xperia S experience theme from ARC (S) forum! THUMBS UP! no one can match this in here! VERY EASY and LESS hassle to install, and uber lightweight, wont make your device slow in any part! I just experienced a few small bugs though. I hope this will be fixed on yor next release.
Sometimes, messaging app goes blank, music player sometimes lags or skips a track if a CPU intensive task is running, and contacts are gone and only a reboot will fix it. Not a big deal and I experienced it twice in 48 hours of use. But fixing this issues will definitely make it perfect.

UI is great for the browser maybe i remove stock browser and just use like next browser or something to fix black background and black txt
or maybe edit browser address bar

Hello guys, I am a Sony fan and i can't stop talking about Sony!
From lollipop OS, Sony using Google's stock UI except home app. Everyone says Google UI is faster than every other user interfaces. But guys i really want to see Sony's original UI (which we seen in Jellybean OS) in latest sony devices. It's good to see Google's Material UI in Sony but also at a time i really want to see Sony UI in today's devices! May be Sony should mix their skin with Google's interface!
I remember using Jellybean OS with Sony skin in my ZR i can say Sony UI is so fast or equal to Google ui and it looks so beautiful than any other brands UI. Also i miss the super cool color illumination bar in X series devices! Why in the blue hell Sony can't use their own UI and color illumination bar and update them like Samsung?! I also miss the cosmic Flow live wallpapers! Sony is degrading everyday they removed all cool features! They stopped upgrading the famous Z series devices? Why Sony why?!
Please if there are any developers please make custom OS 8.0 or 8.1 for our X model with Jellybean Sony UI!
Use eXistenZ + a KitKat theme from Sony Cross Device themes and apps subforum. eXistenZ has the XZ2 theme engine, so with the theme you'll get kinda same experience. Not JB though, but...
