Screen shots of new apps in this release...
Including music unlimited.
90% apps are region specific.
My device had Benchmark of 7819 and Quadrant of 3501
So far so good.
But SwiftKey seems to lag a lot here.
Pretty fast but not of huge difference.
Camera focus is good for me.
Less data drops.
But slower system.
Please share your reviews...

My Android system hovers in the 70's too...probably thanks to all the extra proprietary garbage you see running under it if you click on it. Still, the high load doesn't seem to mean much to the battery. I actually use my phone like a phone and not as a 2nd computer, and so the best time I've seen to date was 2 days 15 hours of uptime.

Well, again that's just because I hardly use my data or wifi...I only manually turn either one on to do a 2-3 minute sync of my emails, news, etc maybe once or twice a day, then turn it right back off. I'm on a $15 grandfathered unlimited data plan and yet only use maybe 20 megs or less a month, it's actually been a waste of my money to upkeep it just for the sake of not losing it. Otherwise my phone just takes calls and stays in standby most of the time, so on average I go easily for 2 days without a recharge (I've currently gone 1 day, 15 hours with 43% left on my current charge). I'll admit it's practically just a 4.3" dumbphone with a pretty light bar with my usage pattern. I'm sure if I kept my data on all the time and synced news/email/weather every hour, or played some intensive games, I'd last a day at most.
Nonetheless I think I would say, out of all the Android phones I've used to date (Xperia Arc, Droid RAZR, Galaxy Nexus), the Xperia S has lasted the longest, by nearly an entire extra day for my usage pattern.

So do I.
Will give it a try for some additional days. Otherwise I will revert to .45 (where load of Android system was nearly irrelevant).

Bug:

It's blo#dy bullsh#t!
It can be solved in an irritating way... On activating the cam you gotta wait till the album thumbnails load completely to the latest snapat the bottom left corner. Any click before the loading process gives this bullsh#t error.... I hate this!

JuiceDefender – Squeeze More Battery Life Out of Your Android Device [1.6+]

Smartphones keep getting faster, better and slicker. One part of the device that’s having trouble keeping up is the battery. Many state-of-the-art smartphones have trouble making it through a single day on a charge, much less two or three days like the simple Nokia phones of yore. But can anything be done about this, short of buying an extra battery? JuiceDefender for Android says the answer is yes.
Before we begin, one note. The link above leads to JuiceDefender’s beta version. LaterDroid, the developer, normally offers a free version on the Android Market. However, at the moment they’re having some trouble with the market, and have asked me to link to the Beta version instead. It’s free and quite stable.
When I started the app, the first thing I noticed was the unique look-and-feel of the interface:
Many say Android’s lack of UI guidelines is bad, but this is one app that uses its creative freedom to good effect. The interface blends copious amounts of explanations along with the buttons, in a way that feels natural and uncluttered. As you can see above, it starts off disabled by default, so tap that “enabled” button to get started.
What JuiceDefender essentially does is disable some of your device’s functions at times you’re not likely to notice, thus saving you some precious power. For instance, if you’re not connected to a WiFi network, JuiceDefender will simply disable your device’s WiFi radio. Once fifteen minutes elapse, JuiceDefender will enable the radio again, check for a connection, and if there’s still no connection, it will shut it off again. So you no longer have to remember to toggle WiFi off when you leave the house or the office.
Yeah, but Juice Defender has to have a service running always in order for its smart switching to work, wouldn't this drain a lot of battery? In the end is battery really saved?

I've asked some people who used this application. They said that after using it their smartphones' battery seems to last longer..I'm actually confused about using an app to save battery since it service always running in background. But it is their own opinion,I'm just sharing mine..
For me, DxBattery Booster is surely a better app than JuiceDefender. Tried out both, and ended in uninstalling JD. Dx's auto-cleanups and the interfaces are unique and life-saving.
In my friend's Galaxy Ace, it could make a 1% battery to last for more than four hours, on idle. In mine too, it worked wonders.

how long have both you guys even owned your phone?
It doesn't look like it was up to 80%; more like 65%. Also, you seem to have had a spotty network connection over those few hours and that can really drain the battery as can playing all those games.
I have it 7 days and im charging from 0 to 100 everytime and thats not the mobile single the battrey goot eaten in 3 houers eaven with any feature off and data and wifi off brightness aaouto all animations offf and limited cpu to 3 prosses still eaten in 3 houers
Ok heres the thing. Your numbers are wrong first off. You cell signal is weak. You have at least two THD games that you probably never exited correctly and some crappy live wallpaper running. Quadrant used 2% of you battery? What did you do, run 20 times in a row? Same with Youtube. You main culprit is your Media Server which tells me you were listening to music while gaming or such. Probably this whole time you are running with full brightness as well. And yes your signal was running and searching or airplane mode would be visible. Also wifi uses wayyyyy less power than your 3G/LTE so use it when you can. The device while capable of playing high end games, is not a gaming platform/dedicated system so why are you complaining like it should be.
Your battery life surely sucks. Btw, don't wait until 0%, you should charge earlier than that.

There is either something wrong with your hands, your head, or both. I've applied the "talk like a human" patch to what you've said for the benefit of other forum members:
ShadowSide said:
I have had it for 7 days and I always allow the battery to drain completely before I charge it. That's not the mobile signal (not sure what this fragment refers to). The battery got eaten in 3 hours even with every feature off. I shut off data and wifi, put brightness on auto, turned off all animations, and killed all but 3 processes (guessing you mean processes not processors, can't tell though). The battery was still mostly drained in 3 hours.

Battery Stats Thread

Hello everyone! I'm surprised this thread doesn't exist yet in the Droid DNA section. So here I am to start the thread. This thread aims to compile and collect all the battery stats of various users of the Droid DNA so that those who would want to know more about the DNA first before buying can check this thread out to know whether or not the Snapdragon S4 Pro with 1080p display could hold up long enough for their own usage.
Please post in the following format:
1. Detailed Screenshots (please just post it as attachments so that the pictures would not take away the whole screen)
2. The screenshots must include the graph of your battery, and your Screen on time.
By the way, no flaming and arguing please. Just cooperate and help the community by posting your battery stats.
If you have some tips to share to the people to help them extend their battery lives, then post here too!
And if you have problems with your battery life, then ask here too!

My battery history has a habit of not resetting. Meaning, I can go one day, about 12-18 hours, shut it off, plug it in over night to charge, and the next morning, instead of the history reading that it has been off the charger for about a minute, it shows over 1 day. I don't get it. It will do that all the time. I don't know what prompts it to change, but it does every few days or so. And just recently (as in the last couple of days) I have been getting a much more rapid drain of the battery, barely making 12 hours. No more excessive use than days previous. Any thoughts? No it is not rooted, or unlocked.
My battery lasts for a while with moderate use all day.

The graph spikes up occasionally, which means the phone was charged for a little while multiple times
You may have simply connected to a PC but that little charging again and again counts upto a lot

Not buying that, those spikes in the graph indicate charging. When you connect your phone to computer via usb, sometimes it does not shows up as charging in stats, but of course its getting some juice

Well let's see
1) the op gave you a mathematical equation. You can just substitute your starting percentage instead of 100 and use it
2)Trying to gauge stamina means you are in a situation where you cannot charge back and you're trying to make whatever you have last as much as possible
And if you still wanna argue, let's say one should start at 100% battery.
1) "Start" is ths keyword here.
2)Let's assume you wanna charge in between. Your graph is what? 3 days long on the x axis? If I sit down and count the amount of time you were in charging, let alone how much you charged, I'll find that the phone was being charged for 4-5 hours atleast.
So, no victory for you mate. Sorry

Chill boy, I am not here to prove anything its just my phone and if I make it last for three days then its just for my benefit, I don't want any titles.....
Cheers.....I would be happy if you can make it even more than me.....people can and even I can make it last for four days but thats not the deal, if it works fine even one day is enough.
I just shared my experience and it doesn't make any difference if you call it fake or real.....my life will not change I have got bigger issues in life than being Mr. Stamina...LOL
