I am thinking about buying a used prime or a tf300 from amazon for around $300 and I was wondering if anyone has bought one used from the same place and how did it work out.

I don't think my question was clear enough I was wondering it anyone had bought a used asus transformer tf201 or tf300 from amazon and did you think it was worth paying less for it, how was the condition of it.
dont buy get the tf300 or the tf700. we get crap wifi along with several problem..... I will sell you mine for 300..... Atleast you know you will get a descent prime with ok wifi

I've actually just lited my TF201 and keyoard on amazon, as for me I can say that mine is in great shape with no issues at all,I'm just needing to sell a device as I've got to many at the moment. It's listed under the user name of Todds67. If your interested at all in it let me know and I'll be happy to answer any questions or send pictures.

I just ordered the new transformer prime, I also just got the original transformer and keyboard dock...

That is a rather weird question. Unless you like to keep old electronics sell it. There's no use for the old one once you get the newer and better Prime.

One guy on another thread said he just sold his on eBay for $450.
He didn't specify which model it was, or if he included the dock, may want to ask him.

Thanks for the pointer. I just sent an email. If I could get $450 for my TF (32 GB) with dock I would be very happy.
I'd sell it unless you have a family member that could use it. I just sold my Galaxy Tab 10.1 to get this. Bought it off of craigslist for $400 and sold it for $400. Think it will be tougher to sell (Galaxy Tab or Transformer) once this puppy actually drops in the stores.
Today many would receive from amazon.com because he receives can post their first impressions of wifi gps screen with etc.???

Wifi strength is tremendous... no issue whatsoever.

But how is an Amazon purchased Prime suppose to be different from Gamestop or Best Buy or Staples or whatever? And, I am about to get a second Prime from Amazon today for my chick. But again, what's it matter if it is from Amazon?

Hey guys, I saw this posted over on SlickDeals and didn't see it posted on XDA. Figured I'd post it here in case anyone is interested.
Buy.com has the 16GB Flyer for $199.99 with free shipping. It is a refurbished unit, so hopefully everything works properly. I'm not sure about international shipping charges, I imagine it is only free to the US (could be wrong though).
I jumped on the View 4G sale a month ago for $230~ so this seems like a pretty good deal. Maybe we'll see a surge in the forums with these recent firesales.
I'm really considering getting one. Not really sure how long the sale is for. I might return my galaxy tab 7 plus and pick this baby up. I am just worried we won't get ICS for it.

I bought one of these yesterday at 6pm, paid for 2 day shipping and it arrived today at 2pm - 20 hours!!!
It looks great, like I just took it out of the original wrapper. I tried it for a few minutes, then upgraded (I guess that's debatable) to honeycomb. It's leedroid version, so I suppose it should be pretty good.
Now this is the first thread I read in the general section... what ever happened to the days when I would read for days on how to root a new system

I've never heard mention of an active digitizer for the asus tablet. There's really not enough solid information out there.

I really don't understand why there aren't more pen based tablets out there. If this doesn't work, for 189, I'll just give it to one of my kids to draw on /watch videos.

There are brand new HTC pens on ebay for $54 shipped. The regular 2 button ones, not Fujitsu.

I'm not a big fan of Best Buy, but I noticed that they are selling refurbished TF-101 docks for $100. Do you think a refurb from Best Buy would be good to get? I know they have a bad rep for other items.
I have a gift card from Christmas from them and I'm thinking about getting one.
Has anyone tried them or called bestbuy to find out more info yet?

It'll probably be fine I bought a refurbished dock from a different place and it works like a champ it was in mint condition like no one used it (except like a couple scratches) the battery works perfect no issues found so far

I ended up getting the dock from Best Buy and I was impressed at how well they packaged it. I've been messing with it for a couple of days and so far, so good.
I get my Prime back on Wednesday from RMA and will not want to keep it if I cannot re-unlock. I see the tablet and dock listed on CL for just under $500. Are they actually selling at this price? Seems a little high to me but would be great if I could get this. I would be interested from hearing from anyone who has recently bought or sold one on Craig's List. Thanks!

I just bought a prime yesterday from cowboom for 299. Shipped. So $500 is a bit steep. and looking at a docking station on ebay for 75. So out the door 375 shipped. If you are interested in getting rid of the prime let me know I may be looking to get a second one

Appreciate your reply. Yep, I saw that site - that's what made me surprised about the CL price and I was wondering if you could actually sell a Prime for a little under $500. I get the Prime back tomorrow. I will hit you up by PM if I cannot unlock, although I am hoping against hope that the Unlock app actually works for me...

I can say for sure they are moving nicely for $400-$450 on CL. In fact, I've had mine posted since yesterday afternoon... http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/ele/3144382828.html and I have about 7 hits, all very reasonable. Since I will also consider trades, some examples are Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus and $150 and just a few minutes ago a 16GB white iPhone 4 mint condition ( AT&T unlocked ) not jailbroken plus $200 cash. As for straight cash, lowest offer was $400, and the deal that is most likely to happen, possibly tonight or early tomorrow, is $430 cash. So, hope that helps.

That Cowboom site is going to kill the price of Primes if people get wind of it. I am thinking I probably should sell this sooner rather than later if I cannot unlock. $400-450 does seem good at this point. I saw your ad - good call on the Nexus 7. I got mine yesterday and it has been a real breath of fresh air so far.
Yea I wanna give the N7 a shot. I really doubt anyone is gonna trade me one, so I'll just end up buying one new. The plan is to get the N7 and then either upgrade the cell phone, or get a last gen 10" tablet ( Galaxy Tab, Xoom, etc for $200-$250. I miss having both 10" and 7" tablets at the same time.
