Important news - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

i just recently ported a Cm10 galaxy nexus rom to the galaxy player 5.0 AND IT BOOTED but after it finished optimizing the aplications it kept boot looping

and.. CAN you TRY to port it to the 4.0 too?

No I told you when it booted it wouldnt finish booting and kept bootlooping so I couldn't see if the camera worked or not

Well, using JackpotClavin's latest git kernel and a tweaked version of the rom he ported, we have a fully booting cm10 with hardware acceleration (see chrome). I personally have it in phablet mode at 120 dpi. Really the only big issue is getting storage to all function properly.

Great job guys, I knew that we would eventually get a booting jb rom! Did you also get the 3.xx kernel yet for hardware acceleration and camera?

for the 4.0 too?
I'm guessing not because of using JackpotClavin's kernel, which is only for the 5.0.

Sure, it's GPL. The source is at https://github.com/JackpotClavin/3.0-Kernel-Galaxy-Player-US. But you'll have to forward-port the mach-palladio.c from Samsung's stock source.

Yes.. I think. Running CM10 now and it's really smooth.
INTL users can flash this

Oh , didnt notice I tried to get into CWM but didnt really work. I tried to type the command in terminal emulator and nothing happened when i tried to get into CWM. Or do i have to do it with a PC via cmd?

Here is what i did:
flash rumirand's kernel via odin, go to cwm, install cm10, gapps, on-screen button patch. Thats it.
