I am a UK user on the EE network and have found something a little bit strange - all of the JB roms I have tried display a series of @@@ characters at the bottom of the notification dropdown where the carrier display should be.

I have a branded (Orange) Samsung Galaxy S II, with Android v4.0.4 on it.
I cannot find the change font size option. I've looked everywhere.
Usually (according to other android devices i've looked at), the option should be under settings->display, but i only have the font style option.
Also i noticed that the settings menu looks different then the devices which have this option (same ICS build).
Please enlighten me
I just updated, using KIES, to the latest Jelly Bean firmware, and although the upgrade went without problems, I have noticed that the top notification bar has an annoying ugle grayish hue. Has anyone experienced the same? And possibly found a fix?

It's supposed to be like that. You can change it by modifying a file or two.
Ok, just seems like an odd design choice to me..
You mention some files that could be changed to alter this appearance, can you name the path and filename?
I assume rooting is required?

Try editing your wallpaper to it is black on top where the bar is.. I think that the bar is a little transparent since on my sisters S2 it is somehow more blue/black/gray..
Or just changing the wallpaper to a dark/black one..

I updated to beanstalks rom on my galaxy s3 and everything is working great except one thing that's bugging me i seem to have a border around my notification toggles for some reason
I'd there a way to remove it or do i just accept it's there?
