[Q] CM7 wont boot?

just flashed my S2 via that:
___
Harder way:
Make sure you're running a rooted device.
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1118693)
Do a Nandroid backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition) - do it for real.
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
___
but after I chose reboot it still is in the yellow triangle screen and nth is hap.
(more than 10 min)
that cant be good?
can I reflash via Odin?
If you can put your phone in download and Odin connects, yes you can try a stock kernal.
Go into CWM
Wipe data/cache
Wipe dalvik cache
reflash the CM7 zip.
wipe dalvik cache just worked awesome!!!

How to change ROMS from Lite'ning to MIUI

Im using a galaxy s2 with Lite'ning rom (android 4). But i couldnt resist the MIUI UI (android 2) so decided to change to it. I placed my zip files in the internal storage and reboot CWM to install the zip. But to no avail, my phone gets stuck in boot loop twice. so im wondering is it because of the different android version that my phone refuse to boot? How can I overcome it to install MIUI?
Thanks in advanced
Did you do a full wipe?
- Reboot in CWM
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Flash MIUI.zip

I did all of this and it still loops at welcome screen T_T
- Reboot in CWM
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- /format system
- Flash MIUI.zip
I would throw /format system at the end.
Its under mounts and storage in your CWM menu

Clean Slate for those that balls up the firmware .Or need to return to service or decide if its hardware/firmware problem .
Backup data first if phone is working .
Boot CWM recovery
Mounts and Storage
Format cache data system sd card .
Remove battery
Boot to download mode
Open Odin
Install correct stock firmware or even your original firmware .
Still fails install old bootloader .

first thing is download the stock rom form sammobile.com, then flash it using odin and then re-root and install CWM then install Miui Rom, if ur still stuck in the boot-loop then do a full wipe, if still stock, then try a deferent miui rom customized here is whet i have in my phone and its amazing and fast and batter saver for me,

[Q] Urgently need help: Atrix 4G Stuck on "Dual Core" screen after flashing to CM9
My Atrix 4G was stock Gingerbread 2.3.6 on v4.5.141 - rooted and unlocked. I followed the instructions to flash CM 9- following the instructions. I used ROM Manager to make a backup of my stock 2.3.6 and the ClockWorkMod. Things did not work out after I followed the instructions.
Now my phone says, "Unlocked" at the top left and shows the Motorola logo and the dual core technology. Its not bricked- I can still access the Android Recovery menu. I even tried to return the device to default through the Android Recovery menu but that didn't work (its still stuck). I can't find the recovery files either.
Since I have unlocked 2.3.6 - I cannot flash sbf files through RSD without bricking my device. How can I return to my earlier stock configuration? Will I be able to keep root?
Thanks.
Are you saying you cannot flash your backup? Also have you tried to flash a fruitcake in recovery? Rom Manager saves to internal SD try to restore from internal and see if that fixes issue.

What is a fruitcake? I read that there is a large chance the phone
How could I flash a backup without actually accessing the application on my phone? What program would I use on my pc to gain access to the backup? I've already wiped the data and factory reset my phone through the Android Recovery menu... would this delete all I can't access my internal SD card from the standard Android Recovery menu.

You can flash your backup through the Android Recovery in the "backup & restore" option (assuming your backup was saved there)
but first via android recovery:
clear data/factory reset
clear cache
advanced>wipe dalvik cache
(that's what I like to do to ensure a clean install of the backup[if such thing exists lol])

Where can I access the backup & restore option?
I think you're talking about another menu. I can't access that menu- when I say Android Recovery, I mean the one that is actually Motorola's. To access it, I hold the power button and lower volume key down, and then find the Android system recovery menu. I get the Android guy and an exclamation point in a triangle, and then hold the up and down volume keys simultaneously. The menu shows the following options:
Android system recovery utility
>reboot system now
>apply update from sdcard
>wipe data/factory reset
>wipe cache partition

I think you have the stock recovery. You need a custom recovery to access to that menu, flash custom roms and do back ups. You can use romracers recovery which is commonly used

I think that you flashed a wrong recovery because "normal" ones have
-reboot system
-install zip from sdcard
-wide data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-backup and restore
-mounts and storage
-advanced
I'm using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.1.8 (CWM touch recovery)
try to flash another recovery like the newest one (CWM touch recovery)

through fastboot and cmd on your pc
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERYNAME.img

Is Romracers recovery used on the phone or computer? I can't use apps on my phone. How do I use Romracers? Yes, I am a noob to the glorious world of Android .

Okay, so once I flash it on to my phone, how do I actually access it on my phone?

That's a recovery so access it by holding down the power button and volume down and then on "Android Recovery" push power up. Then you will boot into the recovery, try to wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, advanced> wipe dalvik cache then reinstall the CM9 rom. It will probably work this time because you have the right recovery.

Hold the power and volume down button until you see fast boot. Use volume down button to scroll down until recovery shows and then press the volume up button. Then recovery menu should up.

I'm having the same issue I used Tenfar's cwm and now I only receive the dual core screen and when I try to go into recovery I get magic value mismatch. Something tells me the phone is doomed.

Wipe system

People, such a question can you do a wipe of the system through a different firmware (not through cooperve_0623.pit)
For example through the main firmware file.
It's generally really do or not.
I would at least make a wipe, where this glitch to boot screen.
I still can not overcome his mistake logo jpj draw failed
cooperve_0623.pit does not work, go into Recovery Mode and I can not.
Telephone current regime comes into Odin and all, no longer wants to.
Enter recovery mod flas temp cwm clear data, cache and dalvik cache. Enter mounts and storage. Format data, cache, system and if exists ext2 partition. Dont format sdcard. Reboot and enter odin mode. Dont try to open phone normally. Enter odin mode and flash stock firmware. It should be a full wipe and clean flash this way.
