Does anyone know how to connect galaxy s2 to ad-hoc connections... I'm using windows vista on my phone...My Xperia x10 used to recognise ad-hoc because we had a tweak where we used to change a file...but is there any similar tweak available here too?

i have been struggling on it ...but no help
actually it is possible . there is a ppp widget that can be used,but the problem is tehre are some driver modules like option.ko which are missing in our ROMs...if any dev can come and help us by compiling the required modules with roms for p7510 it wud be great. i have tried ppp widget but because there is no driver in ICS roms....i am unable to go forward.
i hope some kind and challenging dev comes forward to help us. making p7510 3g on the go. hopefully one day

i used the ppp widget in my galaxy s2 running ICS 4.0.4.the modem is detected but it fails to connect to the internet .is there a way to make it usable??

-Yes you can update it
-Yes, there are plenty of custom ROMs (why do you even need camera mod), and again i don't know what your problem with wifi adhoc is because it works normally especialy on stock ROM

the problem with ad-hoc is im create simple ad-hoc network on my laptop and my s3 not found the wireless
i know if i use program like connectify i can find the network but i want to enable my s3 to find any ad-hoc network because not all computer install connectify
and need some mods for fun :laugh:
and im search before making thread

i personally don't know any kind of camera mods for i9300, only camera port from note2
but if by "mods" you mean something like effects on photos and videos use google play, because there are lots of apps up there such as instagram, FXcamera, etc
