I manage a soundboard in which has input of several microphones, guitars, keyboards, etc.... I record out from the mixer to a external dvd recorder. Rather than recording out to dvd I would rather record out to my Galaxy Note.
Is there a way that anyone knows of to doing this?

If it could be done, wouldn't the recording be much lower quality (less tracks)?

The app may be somewhat limited, but the concept of plugging the phone directly in to the mixer is exactly what I am looking for. Can an audio-in cable be plugged in to the headphones jack to record the mixer output? I habe/n't found anything that actually indicates that this can be done.

Would it be possible to copy the appearance of the FM radio volume and use it for regular media volume?

It might be possible to have the green line on the grey background going horizontally across the screen. Not too sure about the vertical aspect or the number appearing

Hmm, all things are possible with android, it just depends on how deep you want to go, lol! A project like that would be ALOT of work, and probably not worth the headache. But, I can't even decompile apks with my PC for some reason, so I am not the best expert on how this would be done. I would be willing to say every thing you need to edit is in the framework-res.apk, though.

Hmmmmm. Not sure. The same volume bar is in the music and video apps as well.

Can any1 tell What is the rated Audio power of SGS2(in r.m.s) through its built in speaker?
I actually find the Media volume/sound/audio output through the speaker of SGS2 quite low & i'm thinking of purchasing a cheap aftermarket external speaker like this >>

for listening to music & movies .Its rated at 0.5wx2.Since it's power output i also low,i'm NOT too sure how much this will help me here?
hence i want to know the exact audio power rating of the SGS2 speaker!
That kind of info seems to be really hard to find. Your best bet is to probably go to Samsung's website for your region & send them an email.
Thanks !

Hey everyone,
Has anyone replaced the micro hdmi port on the prime? Any part numbers for another hdmi jack would be great.

I don't use mine that much but I have noticed that it can't take much stress before losing picture or audio. I'm just really careful when using it. Is yours completely dead?
As you can see in this x-ray picture of a Prime the HDMI port looks to be part of the mainboard. You got to have the proper equipment to de-solder/solder at this level.

And yes, those are STEREO Speakers in the bottom right corner. :good:
I can handle the soldering just wish I knew which type of Mico hdmi it is. Many different designs.

Could be wrong though.
Hello,
I'd like to record something but don't like Bluetooth microphone, nor do I like the tiny built-in phone's microphone.
Can I use (read: buy) a 3.5mm Corded microphone with the Atrix ?
In other words, when you bought new, does Atrix have a Corded headsets (mith microphone) ?
Easy way to check is: the plug has 4 terminals.
Thank you. It would be great if you happen to have tried with success.

Yes, this should work. I didn't get a headset with mine (I got it used), but I'm using a standard Blackberry headset with 4 terminals and it's working great.
However, I don't think the microphone built into those headsets is any bigger or better than the phone's built-in one(s)...
Hi guys.
I use my phone a lot in the car as AUX, is there away to make it automatically go to Max volume when aux is plugged in? I never use ear phones so the warning is not an issue to me.
