Tried that also didnt work either... is it a known issue?

No me había dado cuenta eres de Puerto Rico xD, jajaja saludos.
Well Volume+ works for me, although it is not very noticeable, it seems the change is minor. What I do when I'm hearing something through the tablet and it sounds low, I just make my hand into a spoon shape and put it over the speaker on the right, making it canalize the sound directly to me and amplifying it somewhat.

Speaker boost
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app

i tried volume + but it distorts the sound quality.
in the nook color, you could make changes in the asound.conf file which increased speaker volume w/out the quality distortion. i looked at the asound.conf in the tf300 but didn't see a clear way to tweak any of the settings to increase speaker volume. maybe someone much smarter than i can look at it.

Music Volume Eq seems to work good on mine.

Can I ask which DSP did you install? I was looking at beats from the store but a lot of people have had troubles with bootloops.
thanks

[Tweak] MegaBass (bass enhancer)

I found in another forum a couple of files which allow us to add MegaBass, one of the most beloved features of Sony Ericsson's W(alkman) phone series. I bundled them in an update.zip to be flashed with Clockwork Mod, and given that they work in all Xperia phones, I've decided to spread them around
I hope it's useful!
MegaBass Installer
MegaBass Uninstaller
*Note* I didn't make these files nor am I savvy enough to discuss their effect. They've been tested in most models with success, though, so again, I distribute them in the hope that they can be useful.
Great!!!
Woorks good in my GingerXperia V12(Cooming soon)
Voy a probarlo a ver que tal, aunque por la musica que escucho no me combiene ponerle mucho bass
Is it can be used on Custom Kernel?? and how it work?? just Default? disable DSP?

Experiafan13, if this works in your GXV12, then we could disable DSP, may be it can further enhance the battery life! I find that X8 just lack the bass power, if this app could improve on the bass, then we don;t need DSP.
I Just updated it, but guys, how do you know it works? I didn't notice any addition app nor controls for this module.

The effect big? Or like xLOUD no difference?
What's the cons? Continue using dsp is not a problem right? Since it just mods the sound files.

i'm not sure, I think it makes the bass deeper, but with things like these u never know if it's a placebo effect or if something really changed.
it sure as hell doesnt make it any worse, so u should just install it.

i prefer to listen Pendulum on my sound system, using my computer, and the computer players have equalizer, all of the popular ones
and i have also a hi-fi with equalizer, it really rocks! i can break some windows with my hi-fi
I think on X8 we should listen to Justin Bieber, but with the volume set to... 100. Ups, accidently pressed the 1 key
Just kiding...
This MagaBass makes the GCruzt DSP Force Close as the XLoud?

do you have wood walls? O.O
my walls vibrate a lot but they don't break, for God sake! But I've breaked a lot of cups in the first times I've used my Hi-Fi, my mother was very angry with me -.- she doesn't know how to appreciate some good music, f*ck the cups
My hi-fi is kinda old, but is like new. I only have 2 Woofers and 1 Midrange broken (wile changing home they accidently broke ), but i have 6 Speakers so i'm using the 4 that are good.
BTW, Can you break one wall with your 5.1 audio system and record it with your lovely X8?

What is the best way to make the s2 sound quality better

After reading loads. I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the mods and stuff.
So can anyone examination what's the best way to make the sound quality better?
There's loads of bits from the voodoo side of things or the beats audio I'm not sure..
However I am a audiophile and would like the best sound and also more volume.
Thanks in advance
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Voodoo Louder will give you up to 6dB more volume with headphones/headset, Voodoo Sound doesn't work with SGS2 as the Yamaha DAC isn't compatible with it. Best bet is to get a decent audio app with EQ/bass boost/widening/etc.
Other than that, a decent set of headphones/canalphones should make the sound 'acceptable' tho not as good as a phone with a Wolfson DAC like the Galaxy S (or so people say).
try some pro headphones
use voodoo louder
use dsp manager
I'll be buying voodoo louder tomorrow. I test the quality on a pair of sennheiser HD650s into a Neco Soundlab custom headphone amp so there's no issues there. :-D
So I take it that the beats audio mods don't work at all?

Some say Beats works well while others say it makes no difference at all. Could be a placebo effect but not sure. Read the Beats thread here on XDA's Gslaxy S2 forums or make a backup and then try for yourself

+1 for PowerAmp in terms of best audio quality. Better than the other apps I've tried. Also using Voodoo Louder which does not affect quality but does increase volume in headphones by 1.5, 3.0, or 6.0 decibels.

[Q]Beats Audio

My friend installed those beats audio in my phone, but then I flahed a new rom and it's gone. I noticed a difference in the sound and with the beats audio installed, everything sounds smoother. Can someone direct me to a download link for them? Thanks.

Which Rom is on your phone now? Most ROMs already have it built in.
Beats is just an audio preset. Try DSP manager, so much better

Just a hint: Beats is far from being "awesome", it´s just a marketing gag (at least imao ). Search for DSP Manager instead (and start using PowerAmp and its EQ).

Beats + the bundled earbuds that came with the phone = audio heaven... //end sarcasm
Yeah Beats is awful, please don't buy into that hype. Learn to tweak an EQ to your liking instead. And get headphones that accurately reproduce sound (no, not the Beats headphones...)

Itvworks perfectly with galaxy s, s 2, s 3, and note 1 so it should work with note 2 definitely
It has dsp manager included
Btw awesome beats works with Note II...just checked
As an audiophile with Sennheiser HD650's, I can say that Beats are just a gimmick for 'bass' heads who'd prefer to have their ear drums perforated than have perfect sound reproduction. Now, just waiting for Voodoo and my Note 2 will be complete.

Beats DSP manager

Hey guys, you should really want to flash this! . I tried the v3 and it works perfectly on my TF300T with rooted stock.
This works well with google music player, however it does not work with poweramp. This is probably because poweramp has a built equalizer, awesome find though. I need to find a different player other than google music.
