When I download larger files, my phone tends to "stall out" somewhere around 5-20 MB downloaded. At this point, I can't download anything more - browser doesn't work, cancelling and restarting the download doesn't do anything more, etc. - until, about 5-10 minutes later, downloads will start working again. Sometimes, if I reboot, or disable my data connection and re-enable it, it will work again, but it's not consistent. My upload/download arrows will continue to flash, and this never happens over Wifi.
I'm currently using the Nero v5 ROM, but this problem has happened for months across many ROMs. Any ideas?
Hi guys i have a weird problem on my nexus 6p h1512. When i try to download anything on google play, chrome etc. downloads stop after few seconds and it resumes after ~1 minute. After it finishes downloading i see my downloaded file is corrupt. Also my wifi drops often like 5-10 minutes.
i think you should reboot your phone. If this doesn't help, you should check WiFi antenna if it is in right place or not, connected or disconnected/
I have the following problem; I get an instant fix and a bunch of satelites as soon as I start the GPS and an app that requires the GPS. Even from inside of the building I'm getting 3 or 4 satelites and the fix.
But after some time (1/2 - 5 minutes) I loose the fix for about 20 seconds, then it's back. After a couple of minutes it happens again and again. In the time as I don't have the fix, the 'GPS Test' freezes - if it ran before or it doesn't show any satelites - if I start it in the time as no fix is there.
The problem exist from the moment I've got the phone. I've changed from the 'shop' rom to MIUI 7 Global to MIUI 8 Global. No improvement. I would exclude a hardware problem since there is always the same pattern (mentioned above) and it happens also if the phone isn't moved.
It seems to me, like some proces would stop the GPS Tracking, but the tracking restarts after some seconds again...
I'm sorry, but I don't find an explanation and solution for that. Any ideas?
same problem here, with redmi 3
did you solved it?
My Samsung S7 Edge, running Android 6.0.1, takes very long -about 40 seconds - from when I turn on the WiFi and until it actually connects to any preferred network. If during this time I go into WiFi settings, the window and the turn-on button seem frozen.
On my older Androids, as well as on other Android phones running Marshmallow (e.g. Samsung Note 5), I noticed this only takes around 10 seconds. When one uses Flight Mode often and needs to be able to connect quickly upon putting the phone back online, this 30 second difference is quite important.
Over the past months, my phone has installed several updates, which I hoped would fix the problem - but none did.
Can anyone suggest a fix? Many thanks!
Hello, everyone!
I have a small problem and I really welcome any suggestions! When I try to sync a new watch face (either mi fit or gearbest) it takes sometimes 3-5 minutes and even only takes it once out of 3-4 tries. I 'fixed' it somehow by turning off and back on the Bluetooth connection and right after connecting, the watchface sync takes about 10 secs (waaaaay better) but as soon as i try another one it goes back to slow sync. Although my temporary fix (on/off BT) speeds up the sync it takes about a minute or 2 to disconnect and recconect with the device, so it's not really a fix that i can rely upon. I have an older ver of Android 4.4.2 but don't think that's the problem. I forgot to mention that same thing happens with big files (like 30-40k .bin) or small ones (15-20k), so I don't think is the filesize.
How long it takes the sync for you guys?
Thank you all!

Have to reboot it to sync. I let it go by itself but after 15 minutes, I did reboot. Also have to reboot if I lose Bluetooth connection. My wife bought me this watch thinking it would save money from the Apple Watch I wanted. Very clunky and too much time spent for such a simple data gathering. This was a bad purchase.
I use the Notify & Fitness app and loading a watchface takes just 10 - 30 seconds, depending on the size of the file.
I can load watchfaces without having to reset Bluetooth. The app requires Android 4.3+, so it should work for you.
