Im pretty sure what is happening is that when I use RSDlite and try to SBF something is messed up with the internal memory and it cannot write to it. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

Internal SD size?????

Can someone verify in Windows explorer the size of the interal SD card.
I fear I screwed it up by using Rom Manager to format the SD Card and would like to see if my phone is reporting the full capacity of the card or if it has been partitioned by Rom Manager.
Thanks.
According to my Vibrant, the internal storage seems to be just under 13GB.
Mine is just above 13Gb.. Why do you ask?

Internal SD - 13.03GB
I ask because no program will format my internal SD card.
Froyo no brick does not repartition the device.
I have used ODIN with and without "repartition" and it always just leaves the files and partition structure the same.
Is there an ADB command that will manually restructure the internal SD and format it. From there I should be able to ODIN back in to flash to stock.
Everytime I do the ODIN to get back to stock, no matter what settings or rom I use, it will not repartition.
I also always get a checksum error when I boot into recovery mode.
I was never able to flash a VOODOO rom either.
I get an error that it is not compatible??? Maybe because the NAND has been resized? I did verify that I do not have the large NAND.
maybe someone could help by running a "df" on a root shell (termina, adb shell, etc.) and post the result so I can compare mine to yours
here is what i get

Yeah, figured I need a real android sdk pro to figure out how to get this straight.
I see the 13gb and that looks good, just wondered if all the other partitions are like everyone else.
I think I selected a swap file size from the partition sd in clockwork. Maybe that swap is the wrong size....who knows???
Thanks anyway though

[Q] Any fix for formatting internal SD with ROM Manger?

Pretty new to this stuff, a friend of mine who was helping me was unaware that your not supposed to format your "sd" with ROM Manager as his phone doesn't have internal memory, so he essentially bricked my phone.
I've been reading about using ODIN to flash back to a stock rom, but I'm running into the MBR Checksum Error, and Data whipe failed. From what I read theres really no known fix for this, is that true and my phone is really toast? Or has anyone found a way around it?
I just can't see how you can't just format the internal memory and start over, but i'm no expert.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and for what its worth I'll definitely donate to anyone who helps me get this thing going again.

[Q] MBR Checksum?

Alright so here's the backstory. I bought a Vibrant off of ebay that was stuck in a bootloop. I thought to myself, hey I could just shove this thing into download mode and be on my merry way!
Well, I attempted to flash JFD with a jig that I had. Went fine, Odin gave it a PASS.
Still boot looped.
So I then try Eugene's no brick, and after finally getting the right version, it booted up. Then tried to flash to JFD again.
No dice.
Following the directions here I was able to finally get 2.1 to boot, now here is the problem that I'm currently stuck on.
I can't get the internal sd (onboard flash) to mount in the system. If I am at the shell I can browse to /mnt/sdcard and see everything on the phone and on the sd (external_sd).
But when I go into the settings, all I see is space unavailable and the format is grayed out.
The culprit I believe lies in the partition on the internal memory that creates this MBR checksum error every recovery.
Thoughts? Opinions? I know this can be fixed, I've come this far!
Below I've attached some of the voodoo logs, it seems that when trying to make the ext4 partitions, it can't find it. (I was trying this so I could in the end disable it)
Does anyone know what might be going on? Any tips at all?
The only thing that I can figure now is that there might be damage or the internal storage. When looking in /dev/block, there is no reference to mmc anything, like the internal storage isn't even there. Is the flash chip soldered on the motherboard? I'm guessif that it is, which means it would be a difficult fix.
Only other "solution" that I could thing of is if I mod the fstab to mount a microsd as the internal storage. Would this mod be affected by a flashing rom or odining back to stock?
Also is this the right board for this? If not can anyone direct me to the best spot to ask this question?
Thanks a bunch!
Please find my guide on the developers thread and follow it,
You will be bak at no sweat.
Any problems post there.

[Q] HELP Phone bricked can't get out of safestrap

Well I feel like a bit of an idiot for doing this but here's what happened (P.S. I'm sorry if something similar has been posted but I couldn't find anything that seemed like it would help me): I run a ROM CM and use safestrap to handle all that. my rom (10.1.3) recently has been acting up so I wiped ROM slot 1 and then my internal storage but when I try to install the rom from my external SD card it tells me that it's failed, cannot unzip. and now I can't even get stock to load. basically i'm stuck in recovery with no clue on how to fix the issue. any help would be much appreciated, i'm a major noob. thanks you so much!
Just flash a firmware with RSD Lite. But care the battery
Never wipe the internal storage or external, unless you completely understand the intended result. Plus 1 on previous posters advice to unbrick the phone.
