Hello,
I am unable to install the stock JB gallery app...i have rooted my Note II and i tried pushing it into /system/app and set the permissions too correctly but i am not able to install it.
Can anyone make a flashable zip or give me he apk so that i can push it into the system?
I love the stock gallery app and i would love to use it on a phone such as Note II

I used to have S Memo on my stock rom I got on my Galaxy S III but I flashed Cyanogemod 9 on it. I lost all my stock apps and I'm OK with that, cuase I got a working apk for S Voice, but I could not get S MEMO.
I tried downloading apks and the /system files (I just put them in the folder and rebooted my phone) but no results. When I instal the apks it says "Application Not Installed" . Can anyone please help me.
If you want to get the apps from a stock ROM, you have to deodex it first, because all stock ROMs are odexed.
That is a very simplistic statement I am making above, because there might be other dependencies that are not in the APK, but in the ROMs itself.
Search XDA for tools and instructions on how to deoxed a rom on your computer so you can get only the APKs you want.
S memo will require Samsung frameworks so will only work on stock based roms

I've been looking for a way to install the S3 weather Widget onto my Note I717. I'm currently using UCLF6 (official ICS) rooted, but I cant find anything. A CWM zip would be awesome. I tried extracting the apk file from a custom rom and pasting it into my /App folder but it would crash when I tried pasting the file. Any help or info would be awesome!

Try this, it applies most of the GS3 stuff to the Note.
Ahhh poo.... PhMod doesn't work on the official rom.

Thanks for the replys, I would really like to stay on the stock Rom (Not use Goldie) but I would like to use the S3 Widget. I did find a post that flashed the S3 touchwiz but it wasn't for the Note I believe it was for the SGS2. Not sure if it would work, I guess I could Nandroid backup and reflash it and see if it works.....when I attempt it i'll let you all know. If I could extract the S3 touchwiz and widgets from a custom rom like "objection" or "Goldie" I would..but I just dont know how. As I said before I extracted the Weather/Clock Widget from the custom objection rom and placed it in the /system/app folder and rebooted but it didn't show up in the Widget selection....if theres a step i'm missing i'd gladly listen to suggestions. Maybe adding a file to the /lib folder or something? I'm willing to try anything. Thanks again for your responses.
I took Asus weather widget realized from the hybrid rom and use it on pretty much every other rom. The way I did it is download zip and extract it. Go to /system/app/ and look for the widget apk. Copy and paste it to /system/app/ and set permission to rw-r--r-- and check the drawer for the widget. I don't know if that helps or not.

I apologize if this has been answered. I've searched in the i717 forums but can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm using flappjaxx's latest with the touchwiz ux launcher (flashed through the OTA tool). I'd like the accuweather widget as well from the S3. Is this available to us? If so, can someone give me a link to one that works? thanks!

If by stock browser, you mean the AOSP browser, I got it installed on my XTZ using this app:

The app says my device was not supported but I installed anyways and it worked fine!

Still looking for stock AOSP gallery.apk
This method to install AOSP browser does not work on SGP321 10.1.1.A.1.307 Unbranded 4.1.2 STOCK ROM - Like it was not installed, just does not shows in apps.
Can anyone "PORT" working AOSP browser.apk, gallery.apk? If it will work for my device i will donate via paypal, please i really need that apps working on my device.

I have Galaxy s3 I9300 with CyanogenMod KitKat.
But i really don't like Gallery of CyanogenMod because they don't have the copy move for move Picture on folder to another folders in the app.
So i want to install the Gallery APK Stock Jelly Bean on my s3...
But all Gallery's APK jelly bean i installed FC...

What do you want to do with it? The reason I ask is that the .apk is dependant on other proprietry samsung files to work and will only work on a touchwiz rom. The only reason you would need it is if you somehow deleted it from your system apps on a TW rom.
I would love to use it on other roms though, it's the best keyboard I have used on a samsung phone
