I've had this problem for more than a month now...i need my wifi

Hey! It doesnt make sense.. you have a stock based rom then you will flash an fxp cm7 based kernel?.. think first before you answer.. use doomkernel v06 and do flash it with its wifi modules..
Please press THANKS Button if I helped you.. cheers..

WiFi modules are already in ferakernal so flashing any modules for WiFi will knock them off on ferakernal try flashing ferakernal again if no success try doomlords v6 medium overclock kernel and flash the appropriate WiFi modules found with that kernel also did you flash the fix.zip file attached with feralabs roms aswell

thanks for pointing this out.
thanks everyone, you've been a great help and you all deserved a thanks button
reinstalling ferakernel did not help - i applied the "fix" that comes with it - also did not help
i moved to doomkernel + it's wifi modules and now it works! i have tried this before but somehow it did not work, thankfully this time it did
my only concern now is that the doomkernel make the phone a little bit sluggish, with ferakernel it's a bit smoother - is it just my imagination?

Ok buddy.. do try this.. so you have doomkernel now.. reflash feralab v20 rom with xrecovery.. wipe data, wipe cache.. format all except sd and mount system data cache before flashing v20.. then enjoy your fast rom with doomkernel power..
Lag occurs when changing kernels and thats why you have to flash kernel first before the rom itself to avoid issues..

Well, there's no kernel, I mean, with overclock and extras. BUT, we do have a kernel with CWM included thanks to Night-Elf <3.
It's just ICS (beta) latest kernel but with CWM included, as always just press vol down when boot~. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22908084&postcount=46.
BTW, Mount USB storage option is not working from CWM.

Delete this thread i have it

Do you people read thread before replying?
Old thread(check the date), OP said he solved it, and most important, it's about old ICS when it was in beta. From that date a lot of (stock based) kernels appeared, so pretty much any can be used.
btw. Tigris Kernel is for Neo l, this thread is for Neo as Neo l didn't have ICS beta.
Well at least someone obviously did some searching . Old thread is old and closed thread is closed.
Thanks,
DSB

Hi.
I need some help with this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846760) because when I install it with the normal kernel I have problems with the WiFi and so, as it is written in the thread, I flash the kernel that fixes the problems, the only problem is that the ROM becomes very unstable.
So, with the normal kernel the ROM is fast and stable, but has the WiFi problem. With the kernel that fixes the WiFi the WiFi works just fine but the ROM becomes very unstable and is always rebooting.
Can you suggest me another kernel or another ROM. I like this one because it is very clean and fast.
Thanks for your attetion.:good:
Happy Holidays.
PS: sorry about my English, I am Portuguese

On the "normal kernel" you might haven't flash its wifi module.
On the fixed kernel, the kernel may not suitable with the rom.
Try fera kernel. Dont forget to load its wifi module

Locked or unlocked Bl ?
what kernel are you on ?
did you try anything to fix already ?
If you are on lupus, try rebooting a few times.
