Hi,
I am just using latest sale LPY rom which is great.
I had another phone back at the time (959V) with Team Acid CM 9.1 which as I recall allowed me to install some games into the external SD card, But the current rom on the S2 phone does not seem to allow that (tried installing Modern combat 3 and NOVA 3 - But most of the data is kept on the INTERNAL SD card, even when I use the "move to sd card" function in applications).
Is there a way to use the external SD card to actually install games with large amount of data on them ?
Thank you

Hello )
I have a rooted ICS samsung note, i installed the NFS Most Wanted game, after launching the game, he tries to download 1,96 GB of data and (of course) can't find enough space on my internal memory of my internal SD card
i already have a second SD card installed on my Note (with 25 GB free space on it), how can i manage to get the NFS game to download data on that external SD rather than the internal one?
thanks a lot!! )

I moved it to the internal SD card, how can i do to push it to the external one (the one with more storage) ?

Get a program like app2sd pro or apptoSd.
Did you managed to make it work? You can try an app that is called GLtoSD.It allows you to move big gaming data to your external SD card. Root is required.
Sent from my ZTE-BLADE using xda premium
i usually use the internal storage for apps...
bt now, as all of it has been used up, where do i have to put data for games because when i do put them on externl sd card n move the application to phone, the game works only when i have opted externl sd card as my install location in the settings ( in which case the app which have their data on internl sd card dont work...
how to use both of them at the same time, i mean some games with thei data in intrnl sd card , n some with theirs in extrnl sd card ?????
Not possible in a reliable manner.
Do you really need that many games? It's a phone, not a gaming console...
Hi,
Is there any way to install app in externel sd card in Xperia Z Ultra. I am on Android 4.4.4. and using SDXC card at 85MB/s.
I tried to install my previously downloaded apps and copy the data in externel sd card. But after installation in settings/apps it is showing that app is installed and also showing the full size (apk + data) but at the time of launching it starts to download data to my internal disk. Sorry for my bad english.

Me too +1.
I use Exposed module OBB on sd and manually move apps obb and data folder to sd card, most game from gameloft work and even bard's tale that use only data folder run just fine on my exFat 64gb card. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-obb-sd-v0-1-t2884004
Already tried it on stock, miu HD, unofficial carbon ROM
Thanks ,
Folder mount is also working. Now the question is which one is better?
Folder mount is a lot more flexible option than obb on sd, especially when dealing with app that download extra data like music on Spotify. 4 of my heaviest game already take 10GB+ space, so obb on sd does suit my need at the moment. It does come down to preference and personal need.
Haven't tried LP Rom yet, so folder mount might be an only option if ZU sd problem still around

In Lp same problem is there, I tried gpe port just for this reason and found the same problem. Also performance is also low. And no Sony apps so reverted back to stock.
Folder mount might work, but exposed app like obb on sd is useless on LP due to the default runtime being ART
Still patiently waiting LP Rom (will stay on StoneUI for now), and thanks for the heads up on gpe port sd problem
Hi!
Some days ago, i bought an allview v1 viper e, maybe you`ve not heard about those phones...Well...they are cheap )
All was good, until i started to install games...If i don`t have a micro SD in the phone, it install the games in internal memory, if i insert an SD card, it install any apps on it, i checked to install them in internal storage, but it install them on SD card.
And, if i install a game when i don`t have the sd card inserted, and i can play it, after i instert the SD card, and try to play again the same game, it is starting again to download the game...
Do you know that if i`ll use a rom, like from cyanogen, the problem will be solved?
It does not matter for me where the games are installing, but...The phone memory is empty, i have 5gb free on sd card, and the phone is telling me that the memory is full and don`t let me to install more apps...
Here are 2 images:the image with 2 folders(one of them is empty, and in the other one is only one folder), is the internal memory. And the image with a lot of folders is my SD card...
Sorry for my bad english
I recently rooted my phone because his internal storage is too small and my sd card has 8gb and is not used at all.
But, I don't know which apps to use, I've tried few like Link2SD but i need to buy it so I can link my games...
Suggest me an free app to use for moving games to sd card (moving whole games or just most of data)
Btw, I heard that I need to partition my sd card, could you tell me is this it
