It's an application that's causing it. Check your installed apps for anything that has permission to cause system level notifications.
Anyway if my Chinese isn't failing me it's basically an advertisement for porn sites.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
"weird Chinese notification". lol. Chinese is a language?
Not good in chinese but its an advertisement.
First line sounds like "Bring you to dunno what thing, experience.."
Second line means below 18 cannot enter.
I don't think its a problem of Jelly Bean.
Hahahahahahahha!
Being a Chinese, I am pretty sure that you have installed some apps, e.g. games, which caused this problem.

well thanks, can someone show me a way to find out which application is doing this? I currently have no apps installed in Chinese
OK. New language: Chinese. Should submit this thread as news tip.
Extend the notification (double finger gesture) and click app details.
Uninstall the app that comes up.
Or simply root it and install AdAway and say goodbye to all ads.

The installation/configuration of on-screen keyboards seems to be broken too, at least judging from your writing.
What is the exact error message or doesn't it show the apps at all? Are they shown on play.google.com?
Is everyone with an s3 t able to use whatsapp ? I'm looking to get one but that's not good

I won't try Whatsupp (that won't touch my mobile... ever!)
However Temple Run works just fine. As long as the OP doesn't tell us what exactly is going wrong it's pointless to guess.
Whatsapp and Temple Run works fine for me but the thing is temple run game sound cracks up and it cuts it doesn't play smoothly feels like i am lagging. Anyone having this issue or is it me having a hardware issue?

I think that error message is quite self-explaining.
You could try 'Market enabled' but I'm unsure if it still works. (requires root)

I hope somebody can give me some advice on this cos it's driving me potty, I keep getting notifications on my phone and they are in chinese (see screenshots), clearing them is no problem but I'd like to know if there's any way of blocking them, it's not a text or email, just a notification and a little picture of a star at the top of my screen, any suggestions welcomed thanks

The notification appears because you have installed an app with airpush advertisements in your phone.
Install this and do a scan on your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEsImNvbS5icm9zbWlrZS5haXJwdXNoZGV0ZWN0b3IiXQ..
Then uninstall the aplication that came out with the result and rate developer with 1 star on google play. (this usually gets the developer to react, if alot of 1 star ratings are received)

Try "addons detector". However that's not a generic ad so it may not detect anything. You just have to go through your recent installed apps and running processes to figure out which app is the culprit.

Have you installed any apps recently right before you started getting the chinese notifications? That would probably be the culprit. I would start uninstalling recent apps and that might solve your issue

when you get the notification Spam don't remove it yet:
Settings > under system tap on {} Developer options > check USB Debugging
connect the phone using a usb to your computer
open adb shell
Code:
adb shell dumpsys notification
copy the output and save it to a text file, post it here
i'll tell you which app is spaming.
I FIXED MINE!!
the KEY: notification monitor function in addons detector
leave it on and wait a day or so till you get the notification
I used to get bunch of Chinese ads
addon detector showed me exactly which program caused it
it was a hacked version of game I have downloaded... got rid of it and the ad was gone...
thanks guys

If so, you have to activate google now in your apps for business administration settings.

Region Dependent maybe?
I'm not sure though but Google Now may be region dependent? I have the same problem with the recent 4.1.2 update here in the Philippines. I will try to install a UK firmware and well see how it goes.

Rooted my phone using the Vroot method and did some surveying with permission manager, xPrivacy and I stumbled upon a mysterious app called MtkCamera (com.example.cameraroot). I have no recollection of ever installing this app. I find this suspicious because I use permission manager on other phones running ICS and never have to deal with this app before. Considering all the apps listed are installed from Google Play Store, I decided to restrict all permission and uninstall the app. Check out the permissions list.

I'm not convinced. Looking at the network permissions, it doesn't make sense why it would need to control network access.

Sure, but what does it do? Does it steal your contacts? Send SMS'? Log your IMEI? Log your keystrokes? Or is it nothing out of the ordinary? Who knows!
I could decompile it myself, but I have no idea what to look for, so that's a complete waste of time.

So the reason some people do not have can be simply because they do not have a TW firmware. Have a TW firmware and got it after vroot. But where would be the point for vroot to put a malicious apps on your phone when they can do anything they want while rooting your device? Maybe you should not take your phone with you on the bathroom, they may record you hahahaha.

So you don't find the following permissions suspicious?
Change network connectivity
Connect and disconnect wifi
Full network access
View network connection
View wi-fi connection
Pair with bluetooth devices
Allow wifi multicast reception
Call me paranoid, but I think this is a spying app...
this app with us from the beginning.
this is what I found -platform for the bottom and top of the camera for a detailed explanation of the process and the introduction of the frame code
that does seem suspicious.
Is the view that this root method is trustworthy?
Trying to weigh up if all is well before I root.
Cheers

Brah I think you're the only one who uses that on this site.
Anyways I'm not sure if you can downgrade an update, but what you can do is flash an earlier version of your ROM and then disable/ignore the updates
So knowing what version of Android you're using would help.
