I have a tablet which has usb port (can connect pendrive)..
Tablet have android 2.2
When i connect my p500 through usb cable to it the phone shows usb connected and also usb debugging .....i want to share my 3g to tab is there any way.?
Tablet dont have wifi or bluetooth:banghead::screwy:

If both are rooted, than try usb tethering.... I'm not sure if pdanet will work on the tablet but it might

Those two options will show... unless you have deselected the usb debugging option.. it will not show on status bar

Tethering dont works...i think there should an app for tethering net to tablet from phone....dont know whether there is one...

First install pppwidget.
Then in Terminal.
su
cd
insmod usbserial.ko
insmod option.ko
Then connect USB modem
Then connect in pppwidget
This attachments only for Fxp kernels.

i cant connect although ive done the procedure n 3g dongle is connected. i use cm7 or is this work only on cm9?

finally it found my dongle tough i have to use usb hub. but i still cant connect the network, i already set the right apn user n password

the ppp widged always show disconnected status, but i receive a playstore notification, what the hell so its working but the ppp widget status is buggy. since i have no other connection wifi off, internal gsm is automatic off when using 3g dongle.
so is there a way to keep internal gsm working to receive sms and call?
Use external power to hub( use USB Y cable) or first connect otg cable then connect hub then connect modem in hub.

When I tether my phones data connection to my laptop, it displays an error "error while tethering" and doesn't connect. "unable to display webpage" appears in the browser after sometime.
Although a network does get created on my laptop.

I had the same error when connecting to the USB Tethering but when I tried to enable either the Data connection (3G) first or the WiFi and then enable the USB Tethering this error didn't appear
