Few day ago I've installed the CyanogenMod 7.1, and my Google Maps didn't worked, 'cause I search a place and my cellphone sends the error "force close", or, turn off. After, I've installed CyanogenMod 7.2 RC1 by Axl, but, this problem repeats. Again I've changed the ROM, the ICSunday Final by Jusada, and, doesn't works. After, I've installed the MythICS (I think this is name), and the Google Maps works, but, I'm back to ICSunday, but this time, ICSunday 2 by Jusada with SlaidModFast V2 and this problem repeat again.
When this problem doesn't occurs, the Google Maps stay with delays. Who Can I resolve this?
yaap me too i using maps ver. 6.0.3 ( Latest ) i'ts very lags and some times get force close...
and i get back to map ver. 5 and everything i'ts oks...

Without delay and force close
This is pretty funny actually.
I installed cyanogenmod on my Ace and thought I was all cool and ****... Then my Google maps kept force closing and I blamed the ROM. Installed theMyth - ICS Lite and haven't looked back. Stable ROM with everything working... (except for the search menu pop up when you hit the capacitive menu button to bring up the pop op).
I miss Cyanogenmod though... Losta features.

I have a rooted Droid Incredible 2. I was running CM 7.2 but switched to IC Tazz Sense 3.6 AV 4.0. However, when I switched back to CM, my Google Play account couldn't find the device and gave me an error message when trying to download new apps.
Something similar happened when I first switched to IC Tazz. Google Play did not recognize the phone so I could not download apps from my computer. It works now, though.
Should I wait and give it some time to maybe, readjust, or is there another way to fix this?

I recently migrated to Nexus devices. I have a Nexus 5 and a Nexus 7 2013 WiFi only. Recently, while I am working with my phone/tablet, the play store suddenly opens to a randon (usually Korean) app. I say Korean because the dev's website ends with'.kr' and the language looks like one of the East Asian languages (I am sorry but I cannot differentiate the very well).
I notice this happens when I am back to my home screen.
I suspected Ads and I have downloaded Ad Away and made sure I am running the most recent updates. I even installed Ad Network Detector by Lookout and even uninstalled some apps I suspected. But it still pops up.
This issue happens on both my Nexus devices. Now there is an overlap of apps but they are not exactly the same.
Please note that I am running rooted stock 4.4 and stock kernel on the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi only (Dalvik runtime) and I am running rooted stock 4.4 with custom kernel on my Nexus 5 (ART runtime). I have not updated play store manually. Everything is as is from Google. And the play store version is 4.4.22.
One last thing, yesterday, I noticed the same type of "ads" on my wife's galaxy s2 running Jelly Bam v10. There is very little overlap in terms of apps.
This is a very annoying form of ads. Anyone experienced this?

Have anyone tried the new google camera launched on play store 4 days ago.
I am using cm 11 temasek and it gives force close while using and then can't connect to any camera, and I have to reboot phone to get to work. Then all the same.

Hello all! So i have Cyanogenmod 11 (11/21/14) unofficial build installed and lately everything seems fine but when scrolling through instagram or even playing "clash of clans" the apps head straight to the homescreen as if it has force closed but there is no notice screen that says " (so and so) force closed, would you like to report, ignore etc etc. I can't really deal with this so im hoping there is a way to resolve the issue. I also want to note that i have the latest google play services installed which was recommended to me to update them. Thanks!
