I really like the ability to remove recently downloaded apps from My Apps.
Yeah I wish I could chose more than one at a time though still a nice feature.
Edit. You can muti select apps to delete off my apps.

Works great
I downloaded it and flashed, works great. i was just saying the other day it would be great to be able to remove unwanted apps from the my apps section. Also, multi select works for me. the first time i did it it gave me an error saying conection timed out then i did a single delete and the others disapeared that i tried before as well. After that i was able to select as many as i wanted to delete at once, i think at one point i had atleast 50 selected and all were removed no problem. It doesnt jump back to the begining of the list when i press back from previewing and application anymore either :good:

General UI
This has even chnged some of the general UI. When i download an application and it finishes it looks different, could be the upgrade i did to my rom but im not sure.
They fixed that bug where hitting the back button after clicking on an app from the search results list always took you to the top of the list.

Thank god, that pissed me off when I was browsing, to the fact that I RARELY browsed using the Play app, more often Appbrain.

How do you multi-select to remove several unwanted apps at once? I can only delete them 1 by 1 and the annoying thing after you remove an unwanted app it goes back to the top of the list. Thanks.
Edit: Figured it out
When i did it i just held down on the app i wanted to start with then selected others after, its like multi selecting in the gallery. the delete button is the circle with the line through it at the top right.

Anyone else having problems updating apps via the new market?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I thought I was. Not sure if this is normal but my version of the market only downloads 1 app at a time. I thought it wasn't working when I lined up a bunch, but that's just normal now I guess. Is that the problem your having?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Well mine says there is an update available but when I click into the app to update the only options given are open and uninstall
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
It looks like they updating one app at the time like iPhone been doing for a while to make sure there is not problems at all, myself I went back to the old market it works great is just missing some items that the new one has
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
Try this:
Open market. Menu << My apps.
Where it shows the apps that need updated, click on the refresh icon that has # apps next to it
That's how I did it, and it worked.
It still only does one at a time though.
No refresh button next to number of apps. I think I'm just going back to old market
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I have that exact problem too mrdiaz. It says afn update is available but when I actually click on it to update there was no option to update. I woyld just wait a couple days though then it would eventually let me update it.

OK found these new themed Android Markets Version 3.1.3 (newest version)
Didn't make this but though I would post a link! Thanks to who ever did theme these! Well, enjoy!!
http://www.apktop.com/android-market-3-1-3-with-7-themes.html
Current Version:3.1.3
Requires a Rooted Device size:3.2MB V3.1.3 update: Adds +1 For Apps And Games, Pin Number For Purchases, And More! New Android Market / Adds +1 For Apps And Games. Pin Number For Purchases And More! should work for all devices. You do need to enable Unknown Sources in Settings-> Applications.)
There is a brand-new settings menu, as well as click-to-read explanations of app per missions (not developer customizable, unfortunately). There is also a brand-new Market icon to spruce things up. Oh, and did we mention you can now use a custom PIN for purchases on your phone, instead of leaving your Google
Checkout wide open for anyone that picks up your device?
If you have kids, or your phone is stolen, this is one awesome feature to have and really, it makes a lot of sense. You can get the new Market .apk here, root access is not required. but you will need Unknown Sources enabled in the Settings -> Applications menu to install it.

Try using the flashable version. Sometimes there is a problem replacing the market provided with whatever rom you use. I usually have to use that method with my vibrant!

Nvm i was just being impatient.
I'm using the new music with no problems. I had to uninstall the old one and reboot after install. Google plus works but I don't have a widget like I had with the last version

My only gripe with Google+ is I still haven't discovered any way to change your profile picture without logging into the website.
Profile > touch your photo
Did they fix the overplay issue where streaming music would sometimes repeat instead of moving onto the next track?

Good to know I'm not the only one with that problem.
I thought I goofed something up.
music 4.0
i uninstalled the current music (i uninstalled the orig photon music and i was running google music ever since day one) and pasted music 4.0 in system/apps did a reboot and it runs great.
although i do not see to much difference between V3 and 4.0, but it looks like it runs smooth and there are a few settings added (but then again i didnt play much with the settings in v3)
it also has a smaller widget so i added a shortcut to the app next to the widget. its whatev i guess.

I've been running Music V4 for a couple of days and I haven't experienced the overplay of songs(songs repeat after finishing current time exceeds total time) This used to happen at least 5+ times a day so I'm thinking they fixed it in this latest version. Bravo Google.
ok, i had them before, but then they went away and now i got these green + with advertisements in my notifications again. Not sure what app they are coming from, does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
Check what dev makes that app advertised, and then see if you got an app made by the same dev.
Sent from my MB855 using XDA
good idea, i just checked and saw no connection... however i did finally take the time to read the "opt out" and went to the web page on my PC to be removed from the list. Time will tell if this works or not. Thanks
Thats the new way to advertise because of apps to block ads. I found the app bartender and some live wallpapers have these tied into them

There is a free app called addons detector that will tell you if any apps in your phone use push messages (that is what that is) and remove the apps that do if you want.
Thank you I found one myself had same problem.
