Okay first of all even though the thread title is technically true it's a bit misleading, why? Because in 99% of cases your screen isn't really scratched to begin with.
90% of all Xperia phones come with a shatter proof pre-installed factory screen protector, and most users are not aware of that, these protectors are very easily scratched, and the result is people thinking their screens got scratched and it causes damage to the brand so please guys when you see scratches on your screen just go and change that protector with a new one,let me tell you this, the actual screen specially on phones like the Acro S and GO are very tough and hard to scratch.
And moderators please make this one sticky to prevent any unnecessary complains in the future, thanks.

What made you say so? Browse the forum and you will find a lot of people complaining about how Xperia screens get easily scratched and none of them know about this, i myself didn't know for a year that my Arc had a pre-installed factory protector, today i told a friend of mine at work who owns a 2 years old X10 and he was amazed.

Yes, I know there are various threads upon the notion of rooting, but this particular issue was not mentioned.
I was browsing and found that you can root various Xperia phones without unlocking the bootloader, and therefore preserving warranty (see http://mytechencounters.wordpress.com/2012/03/17/root-your-xperia-phone-without-voiding-warranty/)- however, at current no exploit was found for this device as far as forums have shown.
Should I take it that we are unable to follow the above method at present, or will we ever be able to do so?
Sorry for the question. I'm not quite a noob, but the Sony setup with bootloaders being unlocked, rooting not invalidating warranty and whatnot awful confusing. I was so more understanding with my old HTC HANDSETS!
Many thanks,
SN.

So definitly no way to root with bootloader locked? I hope they find a another way to root, because I cant unlock my bootloader due to my phone company.
I have not found anything on this site, so I suppose the answer is totaly not, but who knows....therefore I ask
Is the only thing that is stopping development the locked bootloader?

Yeah, Sony is to blame for this... Very bad product policy... If someone wants to root its tablet, the should let him do so... Dont' wanna say they should support rooting the tablet, but other way round they should not prevent it... They just shoud be neutral and so many more people would buy the tablet

I disagree with "is The Thing" because I have an xperia S with unlocked bootloader and there are roms, and some ways for flashing through CMW, I think that the problem is that there are no developers for our tablet. (ok, just few developers like Condi)

Hopefully a few developers jump on the Woot.com deal today and pick up one , cheap. Also, that sale and the announced replacement may make for future opportunities to pick it up cheaply and make it a better value.
Only takes a couple of devs to make a big difference when you only have a one or a few carrying the most of the development load.

Pebble blue, 32/64GB .. that's it.
The phone is amazing, no issues so far.
This is my best phone ever! Always had SonyEricsson and I'm glad I chose the S3! I tried other ROMS, but I like the stock rom from Samsung more
Build quality is okay, it's plastic, but it is well-built and with a bumper I only feel bumper and screen. I dropped out once from like 1,5mtrs got some little damage on the corners, but I can't see them with my bumper, so they don't exist.
But if I could choose now, I would have a look @ the note 2, because that's an S3+

Hey guys,
My Name is Hari, this is my first thread so please forgive if any mistakes are found.
So lets start, its a very common problem on a Xperia Smartphone if there are glossy keys they just fade of into a copperish colour.
My Neo V had this problem so ,was searching for a solution but could'nt find any.
So I did a DIY myself:good::good:!
Things Required-
1)Scissors
2)Surgical tape
3)Aerosol Spray Can(Preffered Colour:Silver)
4)Xperia With glossy keys.
Step 1
Cut pieces of the surgical tape.
Step 2
Cover the area around the physical keys so that only the keys are visible.Even cover the screen using a A4 paper.
Step 3
If you are sure you have covered everything except the keys,Start by spraying keys with the Aerosol can.(Max 2 coats)
Step 4
After spraying let it dry for 20 mins and then start by removing the surgical tape.
Step 5
Final Results:good:!!
This Works on Arc/S also.
Please feel free to ask any question.
images broken i guess
@Music Soul Sorry.Its Fixed.:good:
Nice. Thanks.
Will try when free...
Mine are fully copper now.
