Is there some mod which can turn off the charge indication at night, or at least limit it's brightness? I like to sleep in total darkness, so I really don't like that my XS is lightning up the whole bedroom at night when its charging. Anyone knows a solution for this problem that doesn't involve putting sticker on the indicator?
You mena on red led?If that so just turn your phone on the other side so led faces surface where your phone is.No trouble anymore....

Xperia devices are known for led features. If it bugs you....You Can turn it upside down.

Yeah... great answers guys, especially for someone who bought a cradle for the phone.
I wouldn't ask this question on this forum if I didn't want the solution to be software related. So once again, is there a mod or an app that can turn off the charge indication at night, or at least limit it's brightness?
have you tried LightFlow?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...htflowlite&feature=more_from_developer#?t=W10.
It may work if you are rooted and run it in direct mode.
I've not tried it as I just turn my phone over lol.

Hi
I bet someone has also thought this but is there any way to show digital clock on screen while it's off? I've seen this on many Nokia's and it's great.

No need to be mean. Maybe an image could tell you more about the feature those other phones have:

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly but If you mean the feature inside the default clock application it quite isn't the same. It doesn't lock the screen from touches and It won't activate when you lock your phone.

Well as far as I know, the idea is to light up only pixels needed, not the hole screen. I was thinking it's the feature of oled screens? Those Nokia phones doesn't drain battery because of the clock. I had Nokia N8 before SII and it's battery time was great.
For example check this app: http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-sleeping-screen
I used it in the pass and it didn't drain my battery notably. So once again the idea is to light up the pixels needed, not the hole screen.
This is the app for you.... http://goo.gl/24ULV

I hear this is semi-antiquated advice (I say semi because I'm not entirely sure that it doesn't help)
but have you tried to charge your battery all the way up and calibrate it?
Also...it seems that you have a voice mail. You should certainly check that, don't want to keep anyone hanging lol

Here is a link to the app I use (although there are others ofc):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
Charge to 100% and while still plugged, open the app grant root and calibrate. Then you want to use your phone until its at around 5% battery and charge it all the way back up to 100% before using it and then you should be good. If not, then we can look into other alternatives ^^

Do you use Siyah kernel? This is a known bug on the latest version, the battery charge normally but the charging animation is broken.
Yeah I am using that kernel, no fix for it at the moment then?

I believe the new version, 1.5.1, fixes this. But notice that this is only a display issue: the battery is charging normally, just the animation that doesn't work.
For anyone who likes the illumination strip on their Sola and wants to see it used more, this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rundgong.illuminationcontrol&hl=en
which is also great for the other Xperias can manage the light underneath the screen, which lights up 'Xperia' for example, I like to tell it to stay on when I get a text or a call - like the multicoloured LED at the top of the phone but obviously brighter and more noticeable (and more stylish) but note that only the colour WHITE is available to us, Sola users.
Enjoy and tell me what you think / if you see any better apps :victory:
Perfect, thank you

She is a beauty, and that is a superb picture! ^^^
You should try getting that light on as much as possible with the app. It lights the Xperia sign in a really beautiful way...:fingers-crossed:
We don't have a lot of mods open to our Sola illumination, but I like this one a lot.
I just found another one, which is a lot the same but I think is simpler.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hcHAuaWxsdW1pbmF0aWMiXQ..
Actually I think I prefer the first one - you can tell the app to leave the light on until you see your SMS/phone call rather than just glow on and off.

Try to use other governors and schedulers, turn off mobile data when not in use, use the 'greenify' app. It hibernates apps. Use your phone after full charge until it almost dies
