So I received a text notification, pulled my phone out of my pocket, and noticed the screen was frozen. I powered down and the phone entered a boot loop from there for no apparent reason. My EVO 4G LTE is rooted with S-ON using the one-click method that came out right after the phone shipped in the US. When I try to start the phone up, it goes through all the expected screens but once it gets to the HTC Quietly Brilliant + Beats splash logo, the screen goes black after about 10-20 seconds and then the process starts over again. I've tried the power button for 10 seconds to do a simulated battery pull, and this doesn't help. I'm able to access hboot but I'm not sure if this will help me. I would rather not do a factory reset, as I'm on a trip to Canada for the weekend. Is there anything else I can try? I can't really think of anything... and if the factory reset doesn't work I'm really at a loss for what to try.

So I got impatient and did a factory reset. My phone is now booted up. Still have no idea why it crashed, though...

No custom anything. Just rooted with S-ON. I did do an OTA update which maybe could cause some bugs... As I mentioned in the reply to myself, Factory Reset got things working. I would still be interested to know what caused the boot loop, though...
The LTE is picky. If you're moving again, then I would just move on. Take this as a lesson and get onto enjoying the rooted life

ok, i had i got boot loop agian and so was doing relock unroot so could start over. phone is relocked and says

so no issues getting it to relocked but when run ruu file it stops and says:
ERROR [120]: LOW BATTERY POWER
The battery power is less then 30%
Please replace or recharge the battery, then try the ROM update utility agian.
only option at that point is click to exit. i have tried new full charged battery several times, tried charging the phone, tried leaving it on til the phone died and charging over night but i still get the same error. please help it has been almost a week with phone down!!!
got it today. after being off for 2 days and a fresh battery it worked

Okay so after the M7 battery dying completely it keeps boot looping
I have tried all the fixes for absolutely drained battery on Google for hours
None of them seemed to work though at least I can get it into fast boot

Also if I power down the phone completely then plug in the charger, it boots but very slowly, it shows the T-Mobile bootimange but takes about 2 minutes to get through half of it then restarts.
Also I flashed an OTA on it but did not seem to fix anything except for if I chose recovery in fast boot it boots in slow mo and then reboots but seems to get farther into the boot every time

Hey guys. I woke up this morning with my phone like this. White background, and letters in all colours.
I have HTC Desire 610, and I'm kinda lost up here..

Now, I bought it 3-4 months ago, still got warranty, and haven't rooted it or done anything that I would break waranty.
Whatever I try to do with it, it just goes back to that screen. If i try to do recovery (HBOOT menu), it goes to this one. I've done RAMDUMP but I can't seem to find it on SD card (it was done there).
Any diagnosis here? Can I do anything to get it back to normal? Or should I just take it to the shop where I bough it so they take care of it?

please excuse my poor english. I have a stock Evo3D which ends up in a bootloop after starting it. I have never rooted / installed a custom rom on it.
I wanted to gift my evo 3D to my little sister, after turning it on to check it i realized my batterie became too weak to start the phone so i replaced it with one i found on ebay.
Since then i coudn't boot properly.
I spend about 12 Hours to solve this problem but it just wont work regardless of what i do.
Here are some informations the bootloader shows:

The first thing i tried was to reinstall a stock ROM using a RUU, this didn't work i did a couple of attempts and then realised it has a Vodafone branding, next thing was using a Vodafone RUU
it didnt work aswell, i read on another forum that it has to be a ICS RUU with Vodafone CID which appearently doesn't exist. So my next attempt was to change the CID in which i needed to unlock the bootloader.
So i went to htcdev.com and did everything step by step, i thought "man this is easy", i got to last step where i could choose if i really wanted to unlock the phone or not. I choose yes and the phone was supposed to reboot.
The problem now is it doesn't, it freezes with the red light and black screen, i cant access the bootloader unless i remove the battery and put it back in. If i do so it still is locked.
Now im out of ideas and feel bad for my sister, cause i promised to give this phone to her if she gets good grades.
If you have ANY ideas please let me know i would really appreciate it.

Is it a sort-by-lowest-price battery? if so it could be (again) a battery problem! In my experience most used batteries for evo 3d are stock ones by htc and Anker ones

Thanks for the quick reply, it was a mid priced battery with sold by a high rated seller.
I've dealt with a similar problem. Try booting into the bootloader and leave it there until the battery dies. Pull the battery for -several minutes-, then replace and plug in. Give it a while to charge, then start again with the ruu.

Also with a similar problem, had some luck running the ruu multiple times consecutively without letting it boot all the way / rebuild the dalvik cache between flashes.
