Is it possible for anyone to port this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1864562 for our phones running gingerbread? I was not able to find a gingerbread version and the one which I found was a very old version for some other phone. Any help will be appreciated.

As to my problem, I can not use voice input and text to speec services(TTS) whenever ı try to configure it, gives me settings.apk error and FC.is there anyone
having the same problem or is it just me.any solutions also appriciated.

as u can see, that rom is not stable yet, still got major problems to be fix... i recomended u to use froyo first instead of gingerbread...... let the developers take time to solve bugs by bugs on gingerbread..... while FROYO now is much more stable with fully working camera/camcoder.... wifi tether( use barnacle from market)......everythng is working now in FROYO rom....

new to the forums and Android. Been a reader for a while now. I have just updated from Litening Rom 1.5 to 2.0 and I must say I don't like how Swype works in 2.3.4. I've searched the forums but didn't come up with anything. Maybe I was searching for the wrong keywords...
Anyway, I want to know is it possible to replace the Swype that is currently on my phone with the one that was in let say LR 1.5? If yes, what file do I need to exchange?

what was your version of swype now? mine is 2.72.77.25374.25547.1252.OXX. and i think its accuracy is really bad. a let down when i show my friends.

I tried to find the answer but i didn't find. Does anybody know- is it possible to flash Samsung I9010 with Gingerbread? It looks to be the same with I897 Captivate but i am not sure. How to do it? Maybe there is any FAQ or you can explain it in few words or in details.
Which Gingerbread rom works best on this device and is the most stable.
And one more question - is Andromeda available in Gingerbread?

My Xperia arc's stock version was 2.3.2 i updated it while ago expecting that the update i was getting was 4.0 (ics) but then to my surprise it only went up for 2.3.4 and also a change in the Build Number 4.0.2.A.0.62.
Can you help me upgrade mine to 4.0? what should i do and what are the steps? thanks, i hope i could get an answer here, i badly wanna have that OS
ICS isn't available for SE models as of now. If I were you, I would just wait some more time (a month maybe?) until Sony decides to release ICS. Perhaps there is a beta rom port or a CM9 port, but I wouldn't do that if I were you if you don't have any experience flashing roms and kernels.
Im new so i have to wright my qestion here.
I use the [ROM] Morrisoft Gen V0.8 - Code Name: Nutrition
and find it to be stable and for me the best image right now .
battery lasts longer than whit all the other Rom`s i have tried
wherry satisfied whit this Rom .
but i realty miss the Pdroid app
I hope that some one can make it work whit this Rom.
i was not able to use the PDroidPatch under windows it might be that the android versjon is 2.3.7 and that PDroidPatch can not handle that version.
Any way i hope that someone can fix that .
