[Q] UCCW after launcher redraw covers widgets - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Couldn't find anything about this issue yet: When the launcher redraws, somehow the widgets will be covered by the UCCW skin (e.g. if you got a black background UCCW and put a minimalistic text above it).
After that I always have to remove the widget and add it again so that it will be one layer over the UCCW which is quite a pain.
Anyone got a solution for that?

[Q] Launcher Pro trouble, overlapping widgets.

I am trying to use the Lunar Mclock theme and the Beautiful Widgets weather widget together. When I drag the clock over the weather widget to resize it the weather widget stays ontop of the clock for a while but after turning on and off the phone a couple of times it goes behind the overlapping clock so it is partially hidden even though the clock is somewhat transparent. Because of this can't tap the weather widget only the clock widget. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I hope the makes sense. Thanks
Never mind I figured it out with the help of this link.

I just needed to add the widgets in a different order.

[Q] Widget Screen on ICS

When I go to the widget screen to select a widget, I have to go through many screens before I find the one I want. The widget screen contains widgets I will never use.
Does anyone have any idea how to remove the unwanted widgets?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Custom sized shortcuts (NOT widgets) with Apex Launcher

So I'm redoing my home screen, and I want to have a few text icons that take me directly to specific home screens. Apex launcher has action shortcuts for this, but they are only 1x1. I cannot use widgets to get these actions... I have to use shortcuts. I have done what I want with 1x1 shortcuts, but they are just too small for my taste. I really want 2x1 shortcuts. I have not been able to figure out how to make them with either Simple Text or Desktop Visualizer.
Any suggestions?
I have exactly the same question. Did you ever find a solution?
edit: I found a clunky work-around by taking advantage of the fact that Apex lets you overlap widgets. I made a totally hidden apex action shortcut by removing the shortcut text and using a transparent icon that I made with Simple Text (careful with these, because if you forget where they are on your homescreen they're hard to find!). Then I put a 2x1 Simple Text widget (that does nothing) over the top. The problem of course is that the shortcut only works if you press the 1x1 area where the apex action shortcut is!
