I just flashed XPERIA PURENESS BUILD 13 on my locked xperia neo v, and after that noticed that i couldn't find any option for sending file or photos over bluetooth. I have tried different gallery apps as well as different file explorer but none of them is showing this option. Please help.

dont post this in the dev section, it is nothing to do with development.
Just download the app that i recommended and use that.
Can you try adding bluetoothd file to system\bin with permission 755(-rwxr-xr-x)

p.s. remove .rar from attachment filename

this file is already present in bin folder,checked my self now
so how should replacing the same file with same file fixed some error I didn't had in my neo ?

I downloaded rom from your thread and checked. It wasnt there.
So don't know how you have it.

i did the whole process again from scratch....factory reset....wiping...falshing...and now bluetooth option is there....:laugh: ....it might have been a bad flash...sorry everyone for this trouble....and thanks for helping...:good:

i'm no developer, but, i think you will also need the settings apk from the arc dump as well to get the option to work correctly.
Could you post a screeny to show :-D

Logcats aren't that big, you might want to consider just adding them to your post as attachments If you scroll down you will find the 'manage attachments' option. It's much easier than using external sites.

decompile the framework.jar
in that
android/media/MediaRecorder*.smali
Replace all MediaRecorder*.smali . and agin give me log so will try to help u out.

i fixed rest of proplems but couldnt fix that media recorder thing can u tell me exactly how to compile and recompile? here is the new logcat
1. Remove files from
/system/etc/init.d/*
and add new from other stable rom
2. Dont use any file like libcamera**** and libaudio**** from MiniCM7 or other. Is no work on this rom.
Or just here
1. Grab app, framework and other files needed for JoyOS
2. Ask nAa for use his rom for base
3. Remove from his rom app, framework and other trash
4. Add JoyOS files.
Try boot.

locate this file in libmedia_jni.so joyos original rom, rom modified to copy and replace the same file, ready.

I have been able to move all the files to their respective folders (etc, lib) but cant paste the SecGallery2013.apk in priv-app. I also noticed I can no longer paste SecEmail_K and clockpackage in "app" folder. I get the "EACCES (permission denied)" error message using ESFile explorer. I know i have write access to the folders because I can rename, delete and add other apks but just not these 3.
Need some help please.....

Thanks man. I just deleted my cache, deleted half of my txt messages and call logs freeing up over 500MB but it still doesn't work. Those 3 files juts won't move. I was able to move the email and click apps a few times no problem and then this problem started.
Any other area to check? Thanks

You should free up your system memory not your internal/sdcard memory.

I did try something similar in S2 days, the results dont really match the expectations, you have to consider the screen size, resolution and dpi in this case.

In your earlier post I have given the link for stock Samsung IME. Apk and its .odex file . please give proper permissions to it and check.
Also if you are unable to use it search for Shafta keyboard in XDA. it's a nodded version of google keyboard with number rows like Samsung keyboards. Also you can set your preferred language in settings.

download the attached .zip file

extract it on your sdcard. it contains the .apk file as well as its .odex file. it might be possible that you must have deleted the .odex file from the system folder also. it is necessary to have the .odex file in the syatem folder for stock odexed rom apps.
Use Root explorer. mount the system as R/W.
copy both the files to system/app/
give permissions as rw-r--r-- (see the image for permissions)
reboot the phone .
if not possible with the above, then download this app from the link below and install it
